Hey, guys! Thank you so much for your support and kind words. Everything is calmer now in Caracas. It seems Maduro was apprehended, but everything is extremely fishy. It all happened way too quickly. I don't believe for a second the official statements from neither the US nor our own government. My guess is Maduro made a deal and surrendered willingly, and he might've known this was going to happen for some time.
Currently, the vice-president, Delcy Rodriguez, and the minister of defense, Vladimir Padrino López, seem to be trying to seize power. So it's not over yet. People keep telling me things will calm down now that Maduro is out of the country, but I fear his supporters don't want to surrender. They are demanding for Maduro to be released and seem to be preparing for war. I doubt they have the weapons or manpower to actually stand up to the US, but I'm honestly not sure what will happen...
