hello tumblr I am… seemingly back to stay for a while? who knows.
thinking is hard. have a list of facts.
emory, 30s, he/they, demi guy, queer, oriented aroace. I have a noisy gray kitty, run a d&d game now and then, trying to get back into writing, Going Through It, “likes to read”, in a parasocial relationship with any body of water, etc, etc.
sometimes I post liveblogs and quotes from stuff that made me feel things, and sometimes those feelings are horny. this has been a warning. the quotes live in my queue and post when they feel like it.
I don’t tag much anymore but the ones I use regularly are in the thing down there. good luck some of them are just letters. many of them are just letters.

LOVED this moment because nott has a chance to look after a 'child' again (which she's been longing for), and fjord has a 'parent' to take care of him (which he's never had)
and also let's think about this. fjord has just revealed that he's not a captain and doesn't talk like that to NOTT, arguably until now the WORST person to (unintentionally) confess these things to, as she's been most hostile to him. and nott reacts not vindictive or betrayed or condescending, but she sees this moment of weakness as a child in need. i reckon it makes fjord more likeable in her eyes. suddenly she turns gentle and worried and caring. even though fjord hasn't been the kindest to her either! i LOVE it i love that they wrote this in, especially considering we don't really get an emotional scene between these two in the campaign like this
+bonus bc all mothers snap eventually when puked on TWICE

Wait, so Kristi Noem’s podium at DHS is just a straight-up Nazi slogan now? "One of ours, all of yours" was a Nazi policy made when an SS officer was killed in a Czech Village and then the Nazis killed every single resident of that village in response…..but don’t you dare call them Nazis!
They’re not even hiding this shit….it’s all out there in the open
Fact check: the photo is real. Technically that exact phrase is not reflected by historical nazi records, but the intent is.

“However, critics argue that even if the phrase has no direct Nazi origin, its placement on an official podium by a senior US official carries symbolic weight. They view it as evocative of historical practices that are condemned under international law, including the prohibition of collective punishment codified in Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention.”
we need more mean butches in media that never reconnect with their feminity and never feel longing for the nuclear life they gave up on. and I mean nowwwwww
"youve already written that trope" yesss. i like it a lots. i will be writing it again. 1000 stories of the same trope over and over again for ten million years
