Gozyuger #46:

See, this is what I wanted and expected to happen! Over the course of the show, Kinjiro has been chasing a dream with the hope of accomplishing it via the battle royale. But! In the process of the fight, he's discovered his own way to realize his dream without Tega Sword's power. That's the satisfying conclusion to a lot of these arcs, and it's nice to see that stick the landing.

Bouquet's point to Fire Candle of, "Hey, if you go fight, does that means *we're* no longer your people?" is great! When you're whole thing is "fight the bad guys," where do you draw those lines? I'm also glad to see Fire Candle not get fully subsumed by the power of the Calamity immediately. I was worried they were going to lose focus on his character.

Cannot overstate how unexcited I am for Rikou shit next week. I hope he dies.

OK so Kureha was part of Baku's cram school experience which was obviously a CODE training facility, and she's the dreamer, and she definitely feels like set-up for the tertiary Rider. Sad if it's not Nasuka, but...

Some juicy lines in the preview for next week's episode about Nem's subconcious maybe being the origin of all the Nightmares??? Like that weird eye homunculus one that left the garden and we haven't seen again yet??? I don't know, it keeps feeling like we're on the cusp of a big reveal. I want a big, satisfying reveal! Give it to me! Or tease me more, whatever! This show's good!

I just watched the episode of Changerion where the monster of the week is a Changerion otaku and tries to "fix" Akira so that he acts like a proper hero. Gotta rank up there as one of the best episodes of toku I have ever seen. Inject this shit right into my veins, Inoue!
