“Women who identify as nonbinary” That’s so contradictory. Like, I understand that demigirls, genderfluid, and genderflux people who have female identities exists and identify as non-binary exist, I am one myself, but that’s clearly not their point. What they mean is afab/physically female. Non-binary people can be afab, amab, feminine, androgyne, masculine, etc.

The people who organized the meetup don’t see nonbinary people as nonbinary, they see afab enbies as women and amab enbies as men because they wanna look woke enough to know the terminology but can’t be bothered to put in the work of actually supporting trans people.

One subtle way I’ve seen trans men and enbies excluded from discussions about tranhobia, is by people putting “TERFs DNI” but never “Transphobes DNI” and then going on to say TERFs only target trans women (which is not true for a multitude of reasons. While some TERFs do forget about transmasc and nonbinary people, many many more attack us. They call nonbinary genders not real like every other transphobe does, and tell trans men that they’re “confused” lesbians or girls. The misogyny in it is blatant— they act like AFAB people are incapable of understanding their gender for themself and must therefore only be transitioning because Patriarchy™️. If any of y’all actually read JK Rowling’s essay you’d see she actually spends much of it attacking trans men specifically so don’t you fucking dare tell me TERFs don’t come after transmascs as well)

This is your reminder that not every transphobe is a radical feminist, some are just blatant bigots who hate all queer people. Some are blatant misogynists who hate anything that undermines their view of gender roles. TERFs are only transphobes who specifically use radical “feminism” as the basis of their transphobia.

All TERFs are transphobes but not all transphobes are TERFs.

"Today is a historic day for the rights of all Mexican women," said Supreme Court Chief Justice Arturo Zaldivar on Tuesday.

Mexico's Supreme Court has ruled that it is unconstitutional to punish abortion as a crime, a landmark ruling that clears the way for the legalization of abortion across the country.


The court took up the issue on Monday when eight of 11 justices voted to revoke a law in the state of Coahuila that punished women with up to three years in prison for having an abortion — even in cases of rape. The other three justices joined in the decision Tuesday, declaring such laws unconstitutional.


"Today is a historic day for the rights of all Mexican women," said Supreme Court Chief Justice Arturo Zaldivar on Tuesday.


"It is a watershed in the history of the rights of all women, especially the most vulnerable," he added.


The ruling sets a precedent that would force judges across Mexico — home to one of the world's largest populations of Catholics — to hand down similar rulings and expands early abortion for millions of women in Mexico's 32 states.
