Spike aka DJ Snacks I'm late to the party, discovering the intoxicating sounds of Loula Yorke, but better late than never. She's a true inspiration to me, being an amateur synth and field-recording enthusiast - everything I wish I could be. Her soundscapes are addictive, and are now my background music for work and travel. Looking forward to every new release.

rdsc Thanks so much for this, it's so much up my street I'm all agog. I kind of tuned out of electronica when digital processing arrived so my references are late 70's - 80's - Tim Blake, T Dream, Klaus Schulze, Michael Hoenig, Terry Riley etc so coming across your work has been just like a Great Big Hug. Thanks again, oh and I realise there's a certain gender imbalance in my previous listening so thanks for pointing me at Sisters with Transistors too!

jerome vs caryzzl Over 40 years of listening to so much, to be drawn into a world that seems to cover so many aural and emotional bases by its very nature, and all delivered with such a humble, engaging approach and with superior notes to accompany the material - Loula really is a cut above so many other artists.

swanage_fan fantastic heard live and equally fantastic on headphones or a bluetooth speaker in the bath. few synthesists can write and perform like this. beautiful interlocking patterns, musically and technically sophisticated, frequently euphoric, delivered with real flair and joy
