From Port of Prince to Port of Spain: A Journey Through Solidarities

On August 16, 2024 join us as we commemorate Black August for an evening of educational dialogue. Black August honors revolutionary political prisoners such as George Jackson in his steeled battle against the Garrison police-state. This historical month is a commemoration of honoring political prisoners, freedom fighters, and resistance against all forms of oppression. This event is important and will serve as a catalyst for us to dig deep into our history and understand the interconnecting solidarities of Haiti, Trinidad, and the broader Caribbean. The action and goal for liberation has always been done in solidarity. This is a time to dig deep into history and community.
