Do not forget the other victims of ICE

as much as we must mourn and stand in solidarity with Renee Nicole Good, please do not forget the other victims of ice raids, who are not white. Silverio Villegas González, a cook from mexico who was dropping his son off at daycare and was murdered Jaime Alanis, a farmer from mexico who fell off a green house at the farm where he worked to send money to his wife and daughter Roberto Carlos Montoya Valdez, a father and grandfather from Guatemala who was hit by a car Josué Castro Rivera, a garden from Honduras who was struck by a car And so many others who were killed or are dying in detention centres, prisons ect racial bias is always something we must be aware of, Renee will be focused on because she was a white woman and a US citizen, but do not forget all the other victims of ICE, may they all rest in power

critically stagnant spotlight campaigns for today (12/23.)

this list comprises the majority of my active gaza funds spotlight campaigns. i am actively spotlighting 18 campaigns. half of them are critically stagnant, and two more is in danger of becoming critically stagnant.

individual posts for these campaigns are generally ignored. i suspect they’re just background noise for most people at this point. please don’t ignore this, you have the opportunity to throw someone a lifeline and do some real good. even if you don’t have any money, a reblog is free and can help get more eyes on these campaigns. none of them are on tumblr, to my knowledge. nobody sees these campaigns unless people reblog posts about them or make their own posts.

all campaigns are vetted by the organizers of gaza funds. for full transparency, a list of campaigns is available to view on their site.

campaigns in danger of becoming critically stagnant:

these families cannot afford to wait! are they not worthy of support because they are not personally begging you for it? please do something!

remember, even if you don't think you can give anything, you have a platform, so use it!

thank you in advance for your consideration.

tags for reach under the cut (you can always let me know if you'd rather not be on this list, or if you want to be added to the list!)

Give what you can to keep Gaza’s mutual aid network strong and life-saving.

Dahnoun now runs on a smaller scale, but with greater impact. We are still fully volunteer-run with 100% of donations going directly to Gaza. Our team is made up of remote volunteers and dedicated volunteers on the ground within our community networks inside Gaza—who verify families and transfer funds securely. Instead of monthly meal distributions and other large scale distribution efforts, our main priority now is direct support to families. Through Bank of Palestine accounts or PalPay (a digital wallet widely used in Gaza), we are able to transfer funds quickly and transparently directly to vetted families. This allows families to make their own decisions—whether that means purchasing a tent, food, medicine, etc, or covering transportation, rent, and other living expenses.

"Less than 16% of agreed aid entering Gaza daily; WHO calls hunger crisis 'catastrophic' despite ceasefire

Fewer than a hundred aid trucks operated by the United Nations and its partners have entered Gaza per day since a ceasefire commenced on 10 October, data analysed by AFP shows.

If you can eat and drink, sleep in a bed, read these words, and have a bank account—you have the power to help. Don’t stay silent. Do something for Gaza today.

The majority of trucks entering Gaza right now are commercial, not aid trucks— which means supplies are being bought, not donated. Cash is urgently needed to keep these deliveries going. Please consider supporting grassroots organizations in Gaza with a donation, especially on a recurring basis.

Dozens of tents got flooded in Gaza today.

I shouldn't have to repeat myself about how urgent the need to donate to mutual aid networks on the ground right now.

The Guardian’s article about Daniel Raab saying he didn’t understand why a Palestinian boy would run to his brother’s body and didn’t even care as he shot both him and their father dead has triggered a nausea that I haven’t been able to shake off since this morning. Literal Nazi mentality.

I mean, it’s not like I thought the genocide was in anyway justified. It’s not like I thought that behind each civilian death there was a specific reason - but the flippancy. This boy saying “lmao he was the first target I killed”, him not being able to realise that a Palestinian boy running to his brother’s body was an act of love and not an effort to try and retrieve something out of his clothes, the process of dehumanisation being so final that he can calmly state that two brothers and their father were killed because they walked over an imaginary line they weren’t even aware of, and that their cousin/nephew was struck for the same reason and survived by mistake.

There is no peace achievable with these people.

This is one of the most important articles I’ve read as of late. It’s vile, it’s disgusting. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

the iof terrorist literally says “i dont understand why he cared so much about the corpse”

THE CORPSE

they don’t and will never see Palestinans as people.

also his parents in chicago fundraised to get him a top-of-the-line sniper scope so them and everyone who donated is also responsible for the people that terrorist killed.

The Sameer Project campaign in the South Gaza needs your support

Their campaign needs about $3,600 to $5,000 every day just to cook 250 meals and prepare 10 pots of lentils or bulgur. Medical work adds another $5,000 every 10 days. Now, water trucks are becoming a top priority—but those come with a hefty price tag too. On top of it all, they have to hire a lot of labor, which has to be paid in cash.

They need to reach at least $10,000 a day for the South campaign to provide some of each of those. Please donate today and share with your family and friends:

Other ways to donate include:

  1. p*ypal.me/mahertali (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "South aid")
  2. account.venmo.com/u/Maher-Ali (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "South aid"

The Sameer Project is also running a medical service point in North Gaza

The Sameer Project x Translating Falasteen has been supplying medication, treatments, visits to doctors, wound care, making specialist appointments, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, and collecting documents to facilitate evacuations in both the North, Central, and South of Gaza for one year. Depending on the patient, location, and type of help needed we have been supporting medical care from our North and South campaigns. Now, as the situation is deteriorating and we are stepping up to do more, we have decided to make a focused “Medical Care” campaign. In addition to our South medical point we are opening up a new medical point in the North, in the over crowded and underserved Port Camp. This medical point: the “Translating Falasteen x The Sameer Project Port Camp Medical Point” will have full service care including a doctor, nurses, a dentist, and a physiotherapist. After the initial installation costs it will be approximately $20,000 to keep it up and running and medication in stock.

if you donate you will quite literally be helping to keep people alive! you will also get the option of getting postcards, books, or a handmade necklace in exchange!

Donations to the campaign will allow me to buy food. How incredible that we will be able to buy flour today because of the donations that we have received.

Thanks to your donations to Amal's campaign, she was able to buy flour to feed her family in the midst of the Israeli-engineered famine in Gaza.

Remember that any amount helps, because every amount is a source of hope. Prices of food are extremely high due to the scarcity, so please keep sharing and donating. Thank you again ❤️

If you found out someone was trapping small children in a confined space and then intentionally starving them to death, what words would you use to describe that person?

We are the ones who live in that closed place that looks like a cage, please give anything to us and for us... Any donation makes a difference in our lives, or share or talk about us. Donate to my families from here.

Gaza has no food - How your donations are essential in helping Gazans survive

"Gaza has no food," "At least 798 Palestinians have been killed at aid distribution point," "85% of Gaza's population have entered the 'fifth stage' of malnutrition," you have heard of all this, and I will not go into detail. In response to this, I have heard a lot of people asking - some out of genuine concern, others as an excuse not to help - "If Gaza has no food, how will donating to individual families help?"

But your donations do help Gazans get food, and it is now more important than ever. Here is how (information provided by my friend Ibrahim (@aburakhiaibrahim) (help him here)):

Official aid is severely restricted as Israel has forbid food supplies from entering Gaza. Aid is funneled through the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," which is infamous for their daily massacres of Palestinians.

Some markets in Gaza still have some food, here is where food from the markets come from:

  1. Aid from GHF. Some people are selling aid for an exorbitant price
  2. Food produce from Gaza's farmlands. This constitutes 10% of Gaza's vegetable supply. Again, they are sold at a really high price.

This is all the food left in Gaza.

There are grassroot efforts sourcing food and distributing aid as well, but distribution relies on personal networks. Hence, depending on the location and access, some people receive nothing at all.

This is the food your donations enable Ibrahim's family to purchase. These are all the food items left for 28 people! 28 PEOPLE!!! These supplies are not enough for even a meal for 28 people, yet this is all they have left! As a result, Ibrahim and his family are heavily rationing their food, and they have not eaten anything for 5 days!

Your donations do help, and they are absolutely essential!

Vetted! vetted by @/gaza-evacuation-funds, #336 on vetted fundraiser list by el-shab-hussein, nabulsi, and MohAyesh, #802 on Butterfly Effect Project vetted list!

I don't want my friend Ibrahim to die from starvation. Please, please, please share and donate to help them survive! Misinformation and confusion have already discouraged many from helping. Aid is severely lacking. Please help.

i can bear to go two days without eating but I cannot bear to see my sis slowly dying in front of me due to malnutrition fuck israel...

i have no energy to move forward but im still trying for my little sister who is like the moon who is exhausted from hunger and malnutrition

this is my last appeal everyone here knows me and trusts me please donate to save my sister we need €400 urgently

Donation link here or paypal here Verification here

I swear I'm hungry💔

Asking for help is very difficult but hunger is unbearable

Guys I want to bring attention to the Revive Gaza’s Farmland initiative!!!! APN is working w farmers in Gaza to help restore Gaza’s agricultural sector. They’re just shy of being within 67% of their goal at the moment. Please show them some love by donating & spreading the word

Knowing the ratio of how many followers I have to how many people have been bothering to reblog this makes the reality of the tumblr activism wave all the more ugly. I’ve had many fundraisers reach their goal from scratch before & know what people are capable of accomplishing if they just banded together. Please don’t turn the other way. Just bc the trend of pretending to care died down doesn’t mean any less people are suffering

In Gaza, we don't count the martyrs...!!

We count those who survived, so we don't forget how close our turn is. We die every day...Not just from bombs, but from hunger.

We die because a morsel of bread requires a miracle. We die because clean water is more precious than gold. We die because the aid fund has become an unattainable hope. We die... because the world has chosen silence. Have you seen a child sleeping, crying in pain? Have you seen a delicate hand trembling as it embraces a bag of flour as if it were a treasure?

My campaign vetted by :

@gazavetters in line (#198) and @a-shade-of-blue

please donate!

Please, help Ahmed and his family to survive this nightmare. Give what you can!! 💚
