Possible Theory

(NOTE: I redid this since the other theory didn't sound right and sounded all over the place).

I KNOW I KNOW.. "What the FREAK are you talking about bro?" Let me explain for a moment here, trust

☆ Julie and the Flower ☆

Do yall remember the update where Poppy didn't want to perform in Sally's play and Julie took her place instead? I recall her saying she confessed to her deed. There's even a GRAVEYARD in her backyard. Not to mention a "flower" in a huge sack inside of a shed. That "flower" she keeps going back to is there to constantly remind her of what she did.

And to add on, I'm not sure who pointed this out but it really gave a light bulb moment: They said Sally and Frank was supposed to represent the cops in Edgar Allan Poe's poem (the Tell Tale Heart) and Eddie was supposed to be the dead guy during the commerical.

What makes this theory even crazier is the fact the original poem mentioned how there was a constant heart beat under the wooden floor boards and in Wally's original calls, there was a heartbeat in the background. There's even a heart under Home if you look at the gif. Going back to Julie's lines in the play, she says "I can deny it no longer! I admit the deed!"

Add On

The fact Frank says, "It's one less smiling face" sounds like he's talking about a literal person and not a flower. So that's another thing.

So either Julie Killed Eddie (possibly accidental) or the flower is just suppose to represent something else.

(Oh yeah and I heard someone mention that the flower in the bag they put in a shed might have been a corpse flower). I have no clue if this entire theory makes sense to you guys.

im so serious about this but if youre autistic and especially if youre chronically ill creative labour cannot be your only way to relax. working on a creative project is still working. take time to do nothing. its good for you i promise.

How does one do nothing? This is a genuine question. Very chronically ill autistic who wants to create all the time.

I don't know what OP would suggest but here are some restful activities that I've been trying to force myself to do more of:

I'm so glad. It's definitely a process for me, too. The brain's pressure to "create, create, create" and the way it equates 'chilling out' with 'losing' or 'wasting' time.

But I just have to keep reminding myself that resting is NOT a waste, it's nourishment and enrichment. I can't grow my creative crops if I don't nurture them with idleness.
