re: that recent post an interesting thing about being an any pronouns user is that most cishet people will hear that and immediately go "oh thank god I can just call you the normal girl pronouns" and many queer people will go "okay got it I'll use they/them and apologize if I ever fuck up and use a different one" and it's like. okay. you're actually both kind of whiffing it in different ways.

you ever crave something you can't have? ssssshut up about your ex i mean i want grilled cheese but im scared of the stove

Why does β€œfalling in love” have pretty much exclusively romantic connotations it’s such a good phrase. I’ve fallen in love with every single one of my friends

This was such a smart post to make because every day I get to see people declaring their love for their friends in the tags. Such a simple but sweet β€œrestoring faith in humanity” kind of thing. We’re all just little creatures who love our buddies <3

Alright so this post has gotten over 5,000 notes in a month and I think that means the consensus is that everyone loves their friends and you should tell them

Today is a good day. A trans girl is trying on a skirt for the first time. She is growing out her hair and toying with a new name and asking her friends to try out she/her pronouns for her. It’s always a good day when the world gains a new trans girl. Remember this.

one of the things that's so fucking frustrating to me as a rape survivor is how we only really seem to matter to republicans as soon as the matter of cops or ICE come up. it's fine that a rapist is president, it's fine that men regularly get on their podcasts and talk about how women don't deserve to fucking vote. they believe most rape survivors "lie". they believe many of us should carry the child of our rapist. they will actively debate, demean, and dehumanize any of us, particularly if we accuse one of their buddies.

the amount of times i have seen people saying that ICE is "getting rapists off the streets" is a suckerpunch. how many of us have begged the cops to listen. have begged our government to listen. have tried fucking everything. there are thousands of untested rape kits just sitting in evidence right now.

i am sick of hearing about how a serial rapist got away with it for years despite scores of reports. i am sick of having to fucking debate my reality. i am sick of it being treated like it isn't a fucking heinous crime. it is a joke to them.

they are comfortable telling me how they would assault me. they will confidently inform me every horror they want to unleash on me, if they only had their way. and then in the next breath - now they're all about keeping the streets safe. now let's protect us all against rape.

it is disgusting. i wish they felt anything even close to shame.

I bet people turning 67 are having a great bonding experience with their grandchildren right now...what a wonderful world
