We lost Hermes today.
He was an absolute sweetheart who was terrible at preening, and he fussed over his birdwife nonstop. He loved playing, adventuring, and lettuce. He was a sweet and devoted father who was absolutely convinced that he had to help sit on the eggs, and he was an adorable little introvert who had to have his alone time every evening in the far-left cage. Whenever we interrupted him during it, he made the sweetest little grumpy noise.
We’ll miss you, Hermes.
