I think too there’s quite some misplaced society-taught negative connotations/repulsion tied to expressing loneliness, either for men or women. I refrain myself from doing this whenever I feel like this too, since it might wrongly strike as pure despair lmao. Finding your person of course isn’t the end goal, neither should be the one thing to emotionally fulfill you. But I guess it’s so imprinted in our nature and drives, look at how the space between our fingers are reserved for another’s to interlock them with.

Stockpiling your emotions and thoughts in the end always is worse, than some low-brows shaming you for your loneliness in a way it should any of their business to judge over it anyway? At minimum, you show heart, authenticity and sincerity. The right woman will eat you up over that in time
