Do you think Bingge truly fell in love with Shen Yuan within that short amount of time, or that he was in love with Shen Jiu?

I personally think it was neither; Instead, I think he was attracted to Bingmei's life and thought that if he had Shen Yuan, he'd have that life. But ultimately, because he knows rationally that that's not how it works, he gives up. What do you think?

I don’t think Bingge fell in love; I read his reaction as him having an awakening of sorts- a two parts phenomenon: On one hand, he discovered that he CRAVED to be treated like Bingmei was/is. On the other, he also discovered that the IdeaTM of himself having sex with the kind and loving Shen Qingqiu didn’t disgust him; in fact, he was very much into it.

Bingge's been running around other dimensions getting progressively pissed that everyone except him is 1) waaaay happier and 2) gay? (Is he gay???)

Eventually he noticed something about all the various husbands he has in other worlds... They all have suspiciously similar personalities...

Then he runs into Bingzu who's just like, 'Oh right. You.'

They talk and maybe fight a little and Bingzu confirms all the random husbands are actually the same husband and Bingzu has been playing interdimensional matchmaker. Plucking up SY's from various universes and dropping them in worlds with Binghes.

Bingge gets mad. Where's his cute husband?? No fair!!

Bingzu is like 'you don't get one you're too much of a fuckboy' but Bingge throws a fit and refuses to leave him alone and finally Bingzu is like, 'ok ok! I'll get you a husband! But you're going to have to find him and win him over yourself. SY isn't going to be wife plotted that easily!'

Bingge is like, 'yeah yeah sure can't be hard' and then agrees that in exchange he'll stop fucking around in the multiverse.

So our dearest Horrible Little Guy goes home and starts looking for his very own Nice Husband.

Good platonic scumcum does require Shen Yuan, upon finding out Shen Jiu is gay, being a little unintentionally homophobic to him, and Shen Jiu agreeing with him because he hates men and himself.
