it’s so jarring to see like incest/pedo positivity posts because my mother’s sexual abuse by my grandfather wasn’t some fun kinky adventure—it was deeply traumatic and it literally impacts my mother’s ability to have functional relationships with friends, lovers, and family members. there’s an entire side of my family i know next to nothing about and never met—cuz they ceased contact. the damage it’s done to our relationship is difficult to express. like it’s literally ruined her life and the lives of her children. i don’t see a net positive in any of it.
ur shallow online performance of “sexual freedom” does not make a coherent political ideology that actually protects people politically targeted by the state—ur appetites are not a substitute for ethics or a belief system outside of selfishly motivated hedonism. it’s boring actually, ur scaring the hoes, and the kids hate u.

Listening to the Lemon Demon commentary tracks is so worth it because you get to find out things like the fact that when Neil Cicirega showed people the demo for Sweet Bod and said people were like "yeah idk man this feels a little suggestive" his solution was to sing "IT ISN'T SEXUAL" really loudly in the chorus. And then he was like "Yeah maybe that made it worse"
