I always find the posts/fics where leons just so over witnessing merthur pining so funny. Like that man really had to see them from the start and the tension between them grow and he just had to sit and watch. Like I imagine every time a new knight joined they all brought the weird vibes up and leon each time was more and more over it.

OH THANK GOD ONE OF YOU ASKED
so red hood resurrection is a current on-going fan series on youtube centred obviously around red hood, 6 episodes planned in total and ep 4 got released a few days ago. i can honestly say despite the series still finding itself funding-wise in the first episode, the series is genuinely really good and it’s really enjoyable to watch so i totally recommend it! the acting is very good and due to going kinda viral on tiktok during production they’ve actually been able to produce some hella professional shots, especially for a completely non-profit fan project. (they also currently have a fundraiser going to help fund the rest of the project linked on their account)
to give you a general idea of the vibes of this show, the brotherly sass is fucking incredible. dick and tim have both been introduced and let me tell you the characterisations we have of Jason, the Asshole (physical), Tim, the Asshole (verbal), and Dick, the Depressed, are so funny. the interactions are hysterical.
im not gonna spoil any major plot points, but i will spoil like. parts of the show to give you an idea of the dynamics in this show, so like. stop reading if you wanna go in blindvvvv
ok firstly the bit i love the most about this show is that despite being all ‘pit mad angry red hood’, Jason is Not Completely Pissed at being replaced by Tim. red hood and robin fight (Tim gets bodied) and Jason is actively like ‘man fuck OFF you are going to get HURT’ the whole time. Dick on the other hand shows up and instantly gets impaled, which, amazing. you can tell which brother he grew up with and which he just met.
another thing that i love about this show is Tim’s characterisation in general, because let me tell you the way he interacts with both Dick and Jason? the attitude? fucking CHEFS. KISS. after they get their asses beat by Jason there is an entire scene in the batcave where Dick and Tim are discussing the fact that Jason is alive and its literally like
Dick: that isnt the Jason i knew….
Tim, openly not caring: uh-huh
Dick: that good in him that Bruce saw. it’s gone.
Tim: *working on the batcomputer*
Dick, holding back tears: hes changed… things will never be the same. it’s too late for him.
Tim: ?? buddy he was dunked in the lazarus pit. he’s not Gone he’s just Mentally Unstable
Dick, crying: its too late…
Tim:
Tim mk well i found his address im gonna go say hi-
Dick: ?!?
Tim then proceeds to show up at Jason’s safe-house wearing a gotham high school sweatshirt and a gold chain to knock on the door like ‘ayyyyy Jason!!! it’s Tim, open up!!’ and Jason fucking does
honestly this is my favourite type of Jason because he isn’t even mad that he’s been tracked down he’s just. resigned and slightly incredulous at Tim’s audacity. just lets him barge into the house and poke through his stuff like ‘godfuckin damn guess this is my life now’ and doesn’t try to hurt Tim at ALL. Jason says ‘you shouldn’t be here’ exactly once and without hesitation Tim claps back with ‘lmfao i can say the same for you like didn’t you DIE?’ and laughs IN JASON’S FACE, and Jason just LAUGHS BACK. i’m telling you the brotherly dynamic is so good here guys; Tim and Jason being insane middle children with no boundaries that refuse to stay out of trouble while the eldest who was left in charge is rocking himself back and forth in the corner reminiscing about when he Wasn’t in charge and life was simpler.
honestly if you are ever going to give attention to a dc fan project, go watch Red Hood: Resurrection on youtube, because it deserves SO MUCH more love than it’s getting and i really hope these guys are able to continue it. i am invested.
This, all of this! Also, they just announced that they already have plans for a season 2, and they announced their cast for Barbara too. The director Noah is so passionate about the project (he turned his garage into the BatCave with construction paper and spray paint for the most part) and they interact with their fans so much! You see an edit of anything involving Red Hood Resurrection, and you either find Jason’s actor already in the comments and having reposted it, or you see everyone waiting for him to show up. Same with the official account, they’re constantly reblogging edits and fanart, both in TikTok and insta.
Now, moving away from just the actors, there’s even more to love about it. First, everything isn’t too dark to see, which is a genuine issue with a lot of movies/shows these days. The camera work is great, and the fight choreography is amazing. There’s just… so much to love about the series, I’ve been enjoying the hell out of it and In so excited for more, although I think we’re waiting until October for that.

I think there's something so interesting about the dynamic of Jason and Tim.
Where they truly do hold distain for each other.
Jason, who, without hesitation would shoot Tim, for every second that Tim breathes there is just pure loathing in Jason. 
But also Jason, who Tim could knock on his door at 3 am covered in blood, and Jason would raze Gotham to the ground.
Jason, who knows deep in his soul if Tim ever died, he would be following him into the ground only after a massacre so great Slade Wilson would think it's excessive. 
Tim, who finds Jason so fucking annoying that even hearing his name makes him debate slitting his own wrists but is the first person to actually respond to Jason's emergency beacon. Who actually has open access to Crime Alley and is more than happy to bust trafficking rings with him.
They fight on every rooftop of Gotham until one either passes out or they both fall next to each other, the entire time bitching while nursing wounds.
Dick who seriously debates if one day he's just gonna get the phone call that they killed each other. But also once witnessed Tim talk Jason down from a panic attack.
Jason, who actually doesn't have the greatest relationship with Dick anymore but it's not because he doesn't trust him, he struggles with the fact that the hand reaching out isn't followed with a blood stained smirk. It's hard to be so comfortable next to someone only to turn to your other side and see everything you couldn't be.
Jason and Tim, who have never despised someone as much as they despise the other. But they also end every phone call with an I love you.
But it's very hard to keep hating the mirror when it's your brother's eyes staring back at you.
Nothing more annoying than being tired at a boring job. like sure i barely got 2hrs of sleep, thats my fault, but I sit here and just wait for a thing to happen. Can't fall asleep on the job, what if the thing happens, but at the same time there is nothing to do until the thing happens. it is so goddamn infuriating
