I think Pennywise is really pure actually. It's just like an animal that wants to eat so It can go back to sleep knowing it will not starve and nothing else.

Sure It is sadistic but so does so many animals like dolphins for ex or even just cats, they like to play with their prays before eating it, sometimes, for domestic animals they kill them and dont even eat. Pennywise isnt so different. It's a monster to us, It shows no empathy for us but It's his way to survivre.

In a way I think it's reassuring, It doesn't have any other goals and if you know it, It is immediatly a really simple being to understand.

I finished IT Welcome to Derry last night! I LOVE the retro, catchy creepy opening! It always made me smile. I found the storyline a little slow at first and was only into the EPIC Pennywise scenes- I prefer the characters and storyline of the films but this series has far better scary Pennywise moments, The last two episodes where awesome especially. I can’t wait for Part 2 😍 it’s one of my favourite series of all time- up there with Stranger things, American horror story season 1-5 and It’s a sin ❤️

By the way, you can improve your executive function. You can literally build it like a muscle.

Yes, even if you're neurodivergent. I don't have ADHD, but it is allegedly a thing with ADHD as well. And I am autistic, and after a bunch of nerve damage (severe enough that I was basically housebound for 6 months), I had to completely rebuild my ability to get my brain to Do Things from what felt like nearly scratch.

This is specifically from ADDitude magazine, so written specifically for ADHD (and while focused in large part on kids, also definitely includes adults and adult activities):

Here's a link on this for autism (though as an editor wow did that title need an editor lol):

Resources on this aren't great because they're mainly aimed at neurotypical therapists or parents of neurdivergent children. There's worksheets you can do that help a lot too or thought work you can do to sort of build the neuro-infrastructure for tasks.

But a lot of the stuff is just like. fun. Pulling from both the first article and my own experience:

  • Play games or video games where you have to make a lot of decisions. Literally go make a ton of picrews or do online dress-up dolls if you like. It helped me.
  • Art, especially forms of art that require patience, planning ahead, or in contrast improvisation
  • Listening to longform storytelling without visuals, e.g. just listening regularly to audiobooks or narrative podcasts, etc.
  • Meditation
  • Martial arts
  • Sports in general
  • Board games like chess or Catan (I actually found a big list of what board games are good for building what executive functioning skills here)
  • Woodworking
  • Cooking
  • If you're bad at time management play games or video games with a bunch of timers

Things can be easier. You might always have a disability around this (I certainly always will), but it can be easier. You do not have to be this stuck forever.

So, this look that we saw in Welcome To Derry got me thinking—does this imply that Pennywise actually washes his clothes? Bc, he got up and stayed covered in blood out of choice but has never done this before (if we’re assuming he sleeps in the blood bath all the time)

So, was he in such a rush that he just didn’t bother or does he just do a little shake like a dog and suddenly he’s clean? Idk the idea of him sitting in the sewers every Sunday in his vest and bloomers while doing his laundry and cursing that he chose a form with such an elaborate outfit is incredibly funny to me

Ight.. I have an idea.

Pennywise sleeps for 27 years right? And then he wakes up to eat for 1 to 2 years and goes back to sleep. What if we just sacrificed criminals who have the death penalty or a life sentence to Pennywise in that time every Three weeks or so? Until he goes back to sleep..I hope I don’t sound like General Shaw rn 😭

In my mind this works overly well and Totally no holes in this plans😃😂
