It’s wild to read older queer books, because we are still having the same arguments. I just read a book from the early nineties that, but for some small language differences, could be a response to our current discussions on porn, erotica, and sexuality within the queer community.

There has been progress, but it is not linear, and we have to fight to keep moving forward. We are guaranteed nothing.
