Love love love characters that present themselves as emotionally open social butterflies but the more you see of them the more obvious it is that they’re the most closed off fuckers in the story. Sure, they want to help you with your personal problems and messy emotions, but if you turn that shit back on them, they’ll shut down or deflect every time. Why are you sticking your nose in their business anyway? It’s not like it matters. They’re not a person, they’re just a role being played. They’re the guy who fixes things and saves people. Please ignore the man behind the mask, he’s fine. Everything’s fine.

blood on my knuckles tears in my eyes I will be a good person. claw marks on my face on the floor panting I will be a good person. it's gonna take days and weeks and months and years but I will be a good person

My OC Assamite from Dark ages. Art by the_snake_ball(Змеиный клубок)

Virgil di Acireale was a minor nobleman from the Kingdom of Sicily during the time of Frederick II. When Constantinople fell and the Latin Empire arose, Virgil went there, becoming acquainted with the local culture and education. He attracted the attention of the local line of Assamite viziers and became one of their number, achieving everything with pen, word and coin.

"hephaistion made this" in a beautiful trompe-l'oeil piece of paper half unstuck by the wind still some of the rawest stuff ever put in a mosaic (2nd century bc, pergamon)
