I can’t speak for other social media webbed sites but I really enjoy how tumblr seems to just completely spin a wheel on whatever media is hot right now. Like yeah sometimes it’s a new show that’s big and actively coming out but also sometimes there will be a solid month where half my dash is Columbo memes. Defy authority. Get really into an book from the 1800s. Watch shows that haven’t aired in 40 years. Celebrate the anniversary of the Boston Molasses Flood. Become unmarketable
Today is a good day. A trans girl is trying on a skirt for the first time. She is growing out her hair and toying with a new name and asking her friends to try out she/her pronouns for her. It’s always a good day when the world gains a new trans girl. Remember this.

By the way, this is the right way to change the color of brick. Paint traps moisture… Bricks are clay… Bricks that can’t dry out when they get wet turn back into mud… Limewash doesn’t trap moisture… Bricks dry out and stay bricky
