I'm half expecting the Speaker to turn out to be evil. I want to know if Sera got her express permission for the whole genocide thing or if she just kinda let that happen. Either way, she had to know what was happening and she didn't stop them! She also didn't just tell everyone in her room, "hey, genocide is wrong, god said", she asked a few questions and just let then come to their own conclusions. Like she cared more about it as a teaching moment for the angels. I really, really want her to be a good person, but any higher-up in heaven is totally suspicious. She's charming as hell, but aren't cult leaders supposed be too? I want to find out how in control she is, she might just be a big ol' puppet, or she could be a powerful person who let human souls die violently.

I don't trust Abel for a second. He showed up to take one of Adam's guitars "coincidentally" right before Lute destroyed them, and he came back to try again before she was done. They're deadly weapons that Adam used in a genocide. Gurl, what do you really want them for? He also wore the guy's war helmet around to show off.

In the meeting with Sera, he claimed to be neutral on the genocide and that he couldn't choose, and said it was up to her whether or not the murders would continue, leaving her to take the blame on her own. Centrist fuck. He also told her "try not to stress too much, it'll hurt your tummy", which I took as a seemingly non-threatening way to say "don't think it through", and did I detect the most subtle threat of pain?

I want to like the Speaker, but I don't trust her right now. Also Abel is definitely gay and dating Saint Peter. That's not related, I just wanted to say it.

And furthermore! She was so rude to Husk over her hair getting wet (which wasn't even his fault!! Niffty threw him and his bottle broke), but she had totally just cut off some of Alastor's hair with a knife!

I really hope she chooses the name Verity. It's a word meaning "truth" or "reality", or sometimes "doctrine". She can start a new chapter centered around honesty, and keep her initial!
