Shipping The Ghoul and Lucy when both characters have black love interests feels very… hmm
Ghoul x Lucy shippers found this and surprise surprise they see this as a personal attack and me calling them racist monsters for not shipping characters with their canonical love interest. Ppl keep bringing up that Barb and Cooper are divorced and like… where in the show does it say they divorced? Even if they did his entire motivation is to find her and their daughter so clearly he still cares about her to some capacity, why are ppl ignoring that?
WHY are ppl ignoring that? I wonder if there’s a subconscious bias here that I was simply trying to politely point out…
Also the ghoul and Lucy reads more as an adopted daughter and father to me rather than them being a romantic pairing
