Hello friend <3 I've been following your blog for a while and I love your art. I hope you've been doing well and haven't caught a cold (me and other ppl i know have all gotten some recently, and though we are from different countries, i still thought I'd send good vibes your way). Stay safe and keep warm!

I have picked up the original YGO not too long ago. I've watched a bit of two ygo series growing up (zexal and arc v) but never the OG, and then one day i found the manga in the bookstore and picked it up. I'm still nowhere near done, in fact, im still in the battle city arc, but one thing that always got me was the dynamic between Yugi and the Pharaoh. Though i don't personally ship them romantically, their relationship is very dear to me and it was a joy to see it develop troughtout the manga so far.

This may seem like a random topic to share with you, but I just brought it up to say that i really love the way you write/draw their interactions - it's so extremely close to canon in my opinion, that it's always a joy to see them depicted in your art.

That's really all I wanted to say in this ask!

Please have a great day out there :)

Hi :D thank you for supporting my art it means a lot to me!

Thanks for your concern, it’s very easy to get sick during the winter season but im doing alright now! i hope you feel better quickly! Get rest when you can and take medicine

i have only indulged in the original yugioh series (im not sure i could grasp the rules of xyz summoning and link summoning; i finally got a hold of the original rules after so long…) but that’s interesting you started from the spin off series and i hope you’re having fun reading the original manga

im glad you think my art depicts the characters close to the canon. I think the ygo cast is very well characterized so I like to see them the most in their original setting if that makes sense.

this is something silly but, i drew this art as one of my first ygo fanarts ↑ after watching the anime but before reading the manga. So as I was reading the manga , I was really excited to see these panels looked similar to the expressions i gave them. it made me happy to think i got the characters right :)

I think Yugi and the Pharaoh’s relationship is incredibly interesting from so many points, none that I could concisely say in this ask lol. And while I do ship them, I see them as friends first. I love how easy their friendship came to be, and it’s heartening to see how much they rely on each other. One of the main points of the story was they help make each other better. I try to see that they support each other in all the interactions i draw lol and im glad it could make you happy too :)

thanks for your ask, i’m very flattered and happy when people want to talk with me! i hope you have a great day too!

I've not followed this blog for long but i had this feeling for a while and im sorry if this sentence doesn't make any sense to you but I promise this is 100% meant as a compliment: Your ygo art feels like gummy bears to me! As in the candy. I don't usually associate food to art in any way but this one kept giving me a feeling i couldn't exactly name until alas i did it! The characters' faces look squishy, and it's all so soft and colorful! It brings a feeling of comfort. Idk it probably doesn't make any sense so im really sorry for bothering you but that's just a compliment i wanted to give voice to. Have a good day!

hahaha that’s very cute and sweet of you to say!

i can understand that, especially from my coloring. I really takahashi kazuki’s vibrant colors in the original manga art, it somehow conveys the edgy and cute look at the same time that i really enjoyed about the series

and i have a personal nostalgia for older anime. and the soft look it has from the noise and sometimes blurry linework

it’s not a bother, i put a lot of thought and care into everything i do and it’s very nice to know it could give off a sweet feeling. thank you

have a good day too!

Hello I'm new here but I wanted to say that your art is EXTREMELY cute and that I unfortunately couldn't buy any of your ygo charms for myself even tho I wanted to bc of the shipping (it is around 20€ of shipping costs for me, wich i know isnt your fault so dw im not some random internet asshole wanting to point fingers!) but I wish you the best of luck with both your blog and the selling of the charms!!

Stay safe out there and happy new year!!!

hello and thank you! that’s very kind of you to say, it means a lot to me to know you enjoy my art :)

i know international shipping is very expensive, thank you for understanding. i’m sorry i cannot change it. you could try to organize a group order to split the shipping cost, if you and some local friends wanted to buy together.

thanks for supporting my art, whether it’s buying the merch i make, commenting/liking my posts, and following me online it all helps me make more art ♡

best wishes to you too & happy new year

Hello ;a; I apologize if this is a rude question, I seem to have missed the window to order your yugioh charms T_T would you ever plan on selling another run of them? they're soooooooo cute I was struggling to decide between them and then I didn't buy any OTL

It’s not rude, hope it’s alright with you if I post this public because I’m sure others would also be interested in this.

Honestly it got removed from etsy for copyright infringement. I was half joking when I said konami was going to smite me on site, but im playing with fire and i put them back up.

you can get them here

these are extremely low stock, yami yugi and bakura are sold out.

if these get taken off etsy again i will not put them back up, and if they get sold out i wont restock them on etsy. i might sell them in person at conventions, so uh, get them while you can

sorry for any inconvenience, they are very strict with their ip…

you should consider selling the backing cards separately from the charms as well, i want so many of them

if i didn’t think konami would smite me on site for copyright infringement lol but i’m extremely glad you like them

thank you guys for reacting so kindly to my very self indulgent comic, it really makes me happy to read your tags and comments

I have a question🙋‍♀️

Why does the vampire live there?

How did the ghost die?

Why is the vampire away? Does she have a job?

Is the ghost just a regular ghost?

If it's her family estate, where are they?

I will try my best to answer your questions.

In Ghoulfriends the vampire, Serafina, lives in the estate with her ghost girlfriend, Beau. It is not depicted in the comic but she moved in immediately after Beau’s death and has lived there since.

The ghost was murdered. I saved this only for the printed version of the comic, in Volume 2 there is a exclusive comic how and why she was murdered. You can get Volume 2 here.

The vampire has to leave to hunt, she drinks blood and steals. She has no need for a job she’s dead and isolated from society what does she need money for.

I don’t know what a regular ghost is.

The estate is hidden in the dark secluded forest of an unnamed rural country side.

You can find all the online comics available to read on tapas to learn more! Or get the printed comics in my store which have bonus exclusive comics, illustrations, and behind the scene sketches.

hi! sorry to bother you, i just had a question. i was wondering if i might have your permission to get a piece of your art potentially tattooed? the vashes from your space angel post from march 3rd is so beautiful. if not, it's totally cool and i understand! thank you for your time :)

Hello, it’s no bother i’m happy to help!

I would not recommend tattooing any of my art because my art style is usually detailed in a way that I don’t think lends itself to creating a good tattoo. It’s my understanding that a lot of close linework/details will bleed together in the future and need touching up.

If you’re interested, you’ll have to consult with your tattoo artist to adjust the artwork for the best result. For example, the leather straps on vash in that image should probably be omitted in exchange for like solid black shadows.

You can have it tattooed but I personally don’t want to see the final result (don’t tag me in it). Thank you for your kindness and your kind words, I am happy to hear you enjoy my art.
