Some Nicktoon doodles! I was thinking of making an Invader Zim shaker charm but i really dont think it'd sell too well, and they're kinda expensive to make. But maybe one day...

So.... this past week's Mighty Nein ep (watching the animated series) got me to try listening to CR...again lol

In the past, ive tried like 5+ different times at different campaigns and parts and it just did *not* hold my attention.... BUT, i like most all the characters in this campaign so far... so maybe.

I'm 5 and a half eps in. There are things i like and also things i dislike. (mainly, its just hard to keep my attention cuz of how loooong some of he descriptions of events and the actual Doing Stuff takes. Im used to AP podcasts having a bit more push along to make things go a little faster, or editing out a lot of the back and forth Figuring Stuff Out talks. (which is why i could never get into CR in the first place)

BUT, i am enjoying this version of the characters more than the show's version of the characters. And i already liked most of them in the show.

I'm now 18 episodes in and just finished the S1 finale of the animated show and man... i really, Really, prefer the pacing of the campaign a lot more. And just the overall story telling.

I'm enjoying the animated series so far, and it is what got me to finally try CR again. But boy oh boy, i dont think they're doing a great job at establishing the characters and letting them grow before dropping all this info with them. Like, i understand you gotta change some stuff up for pacing reasons when you have an episode limit and only so much time...but I would've made some very different choices in how to introduce some of these events and character hurdles.

But i am really enjoying the podcast so far. I still fast forward a lot of the fights tho cuz theyre So Loooong..

Aw heck,… im like 27 eps in now

(I've just finished reading "Frankenstein" and I suddenly wanted to do nothing else but draw a fake cover-art. As you do.)

Riso Print of The Creature from Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein. The illustration is contained within and archway shape, the Creature stepping out slightly onto the whitespace from within in. He is hunched over and glancing warily to the side, his hood obscuring most of his long hair. With his left hand he grasps the wall of the archway and steps his right foot out. His other hand is extended to rest against the opposing wall. He wears a heavy coat and tatters beneath it. Furs cover his shoulders and make him seem bigger. In the background a desolate forest leads a winding path to Frankenstein's tower, which is being struck by a great bolt of golden lightning. Dusk settling in, giving us a dark gradient in the sky that allows us to see part of the full moon above. The print is made with black, teal, and flat gold ink.ALT

Im on Day 7 and everyone is trying to kill me. Rats ganging up on me, stabby guys chasing after me. I had to nap from all the stab wounds I got.
