I’m so exhausted right now but can’t sleep sooo-
Nonhuman F/O who watches you sleep.
F/O who knows about your sleep issues, and knows how paranoid you are at night. They feel bad for you, but don’t quite understand the pain it causes you in a biological sense.
However, this doesn’t stop them from trying to help. They observe you as you lay in bed, whether that be through a window or just in the corners of the room. Perhaps even lying in bed with you if you permit it.
One would assume this is disturbing or even down right horrific, and sure at first it was off putting, but now you feel more comfortable. Their eyes (or lack there of) don’t spook you anymore. When you spot them watching, silent but stagnant, you feel at peace. They are watching over you.
Nights become less stressful, and maybe you even get better sleep, knowing they are there looking out for you.
SHOUT OUT TO SELFSHIPPERS WHO HAVE CONVOLUTED LORE! EVEN IF THAT LORE MIGHT NOT BE CUTESY. IF IT WOULD TAKE A LONG TIME TO EXPLAIN. IF IT FALLS INTO "CRINGEY" TROPES. IF IT'S SO HEAVILY DIVERTED FROM CANON IT CHANGES THE ENTIRE PLOTLINE. SHOUTOUT.

Imagine stimming with your f/o, as in, things that belong to them, or are on their person.
Petting their hair, or playing with the straps and folds of their outfit. Grasping their hand and swinging it back and forth repeatedly. Stealing their hoodie because it’s fuzzy on the inside and the texture makes you feel like Liquid Joy.
Asking them to repeat certain phrases, or just read to you, because the sound of their voice is so soothing. Even just repeating things they say because you like how it sounded, especially the way they said it.
Asking them to trace shapes on your face because it calms you down.
