idk what the people of tumblr™ think of the autistic barbie that just came out, but i’ve seen a ton of arguments on twitter over why she’s “bad” actually.

without yapping too much/long story short, I super disagree with that!! i think it’s amazing that we have autistic rep in 1. a SUPER popular fashion doll franchise, 2. via a woc, and 3. who uses an aac device!! sure, any barbie can be autistic (see: toe walking /silly) but to have one who is specifically meant to be autistic is so awesome to me. i love her so dearly already.

anyway i bought her and she’ll probably be arriving today and i’m very excited. dunno if i’ll unbox right away but whenever i do i WILL be making her some cute comfy clothes and doing her hair and posting pics :3c

i fully plan to display her whenever my fiance and i manage to move too!! ive been selling a bunch of holiday barbies recently but im making sure to keep the one from 96 (birth year) for the same reason hehe she's sososo pretty and ive wanted to unbox her ever since i was little. it WILL happen when we move idr if i mentioned those moving plans here but. we WERE gonna move. and we started to look at places. but Stuff Happened and now we dunno if it would be financially safe to try yet. sucks but hey it's gotta happen SOMEDAY right??? right?????? PREV. nods vigorously i chose vitamin D too. same dude same thought process -> vitamin d. you would be so surprised how many people are low on vitamin d and not know I was low on vitamin d for a WHILE and it made my mental health so much worse and now I take a low dose of it every day all that is to say: I know for a fact piers doesn’t get enough sunlight get that man a vitamin d supplement (and some iron too)

These are some things that I found, let me know if you find something else wink wink

  • If deja sits shotgun (usual habit or rock paper scissors) and none of the boys have high enough points or are equal with you, they will play rock-paper-scissors “their way” (and the MC can comment on it depending on how many times they’ve seen it) but it is not randomised and it’s always Jamie the one who sits next to you. (This same bit plays when you’re shotgun).
