With this post I hope to reach everyone who's looking for something new to read, everyone whose writing got lost in the endless amounts fo fanfics written daily, everyone who has stopped updating because they think no one wants to read their work (I'm waiting for you!!) and also to hopefully get these writers more support and appreciation for their work and contribute to our fandom's endless archive of fanficitons!!!
This scene is so incredibly made for me. I keep saying that but it's true!
This is incredible. This night, he was able to keep his cool when dealing with assassins, with people who killed his fam, with the freaking King of Wei his archenemy but the wound on her is driving him mad.
He hates dealing with Chun'er, let alone asking for favors (he refused medicine when she offered it to him) yet...
She tries common sense...
But it won't work and the way she hugs him from behind! (He could totally throw her off but he won't of course.)
And the way she keeps begging him to tolerate it while reassuring she's OK - just! Honestly, the fact that she's the only one who can make him lose it OR restrain him is everything.
Excuse meeeeeee! He's half dead, and he's warming her hand with his breath through the hole in the jail wall. EXCUSE MEEEEE!!!
He's the only one who learns her real name (and I love that he doesn't assume Xing'er is it) - and it's pretty symbolic of the current state of the two men, isn't it? YY names her to match himself, the way you'd do a possession or a pet and YX gets to know her actual name ie her actual self (and asks her, ASKS her - what she'd like to be called, even with respect to a nickname.)
Honestly, this whole sequence in jail is utterly INSANE and I am so glad @aysekira told me YX was initially the OTP and endgame in the novel until OBE by real life events because otherwise I'd feel like I was going mad because this is NOT the scene you give to sml or first love or anyone but the OTP. Like - come onnnnn!
The way he just keeps saying her name just to hear it, over and over and over, while still warming her hand and basically barely conscious aaaaa!
She puts on a front but her face tells the truth...
At this point, both CQ and I are going full on starry eyed because good lord.
And then he sticks her hand into his shirt to warm it up even though he's contorted in pain.
Team Yan Xun this round. Change my mind. You won't.
This is one of the most straight to my id scenes I've ever seen in a cdrama tbh. And also the scene where YY loses her and, if YX didn't go so far into the dark eventually, it would have been for good and he'd would have never ever got another chance. (Side note - I get why YX eventually got too much for CQ in terms of darkness. But for me as a viewer, I have ZERO issue with him going full psycho. After what happened to him, and how pretty much nobody stood up for him but either cheered, participated or at best stood by, oh yeah I'd want to burn the world down and kill everyone who let it happen, too.)
I love this brain rot so so much you have no idea how much I wanted to rant my feelings abt this drama to someone. Totally agree with posters comments!

These days you found yourself alone in your shared home. It had been nearly a year since the two of you decided to live together. Maybe that was a bad idea.
You were smitten. He was such an intelligent man, and truth be told you loved how his mind worked. He was silent and mostly kept to himself at first, but with you, there were subtle touches, fleeting kisses. Oh and his eyes, the way his eyes brightened or the way his lips turned up at the sight of you. The way he held you close at nights, up until the morning.
Gone were those days.
He was hardly home. The intelligent man you had fallen in love with, was also a workaholic. Perhaps you should’ve seen it coming. There were so many signs.
Maybe he changed. Maybe you changed. But the little things weren’t enough anymore. He came home just to sleep and wake up, and he was off again.
“Bedo, have you got some time off on the weekend? We haven’t been up to Starsnatch Cliff in a while,” you had prodded him a few days ago, wondering if the problem would be solved if you made the first move.
“Sorry, Y/N, we’re just about to discover more about the properties of electro crystals... It’ll be useful if we want to sustain higher energy concentrations on...” and just like that he had gone off a tangent explaining the whole thing. You smiled a little, it was still endearing how excited he got discussing those things.
But you couldn’t help but be lonely at how he seemed to love his research more than you.
‘Maybe I just need to be more proactive. That’s it! I’ll go and visit him at the lab today!’ Surprising him was one of the things that you had always wanted to do. But not a lot of things got past Albedo. He was observant like that. You made a quick run to the bakery, getting him some croissants and welcomed yourself into the Favonius Headquarters.
I would like to blame @bye-bye-sunbird and @yandere-romanticaa for my descent into Capitano hell. All I could do was write my longest fic in hopes of purging the brainrot……yeahh so pls enjoy my humble contribution to the Capitano agenda ;-;

You adore dandelions for the same reason that you despise them.

A soft blow is all it takes to breathe new life into the flower, for the seeds to embark on new journeys in a scatter of liberated parachutes and hopeful wishes.
Not all dandelions have the fortune of finding new homes, however. Some are plucked for human purposes and imbued with new value as sentimental gifts. Many are transformed into entirely different products such as food and wine. Others are simply forgotten, doomed to remain in their original area until death finally claims them. Regardless, dandelions are transient like any other flower and will eventually disappear from the world.
So about the kazuscara and diluc+keaya roommates thing
So what if after diluc+keaya break reader's laptop they have them take a 'walk' with them and reader is just ready to snap, just one wrong move and they're gonna start throwing hands. While they're walking they cross paths with kazuscara and they can tell that reader is pissed of about something so scara is like 'I bet you regret changing roommates huh' but your new roommates can't let that slide so those four start fighting then reader just Snaps and they're "you guys know what? Fuck you, fuck you, fuck all of you" and some fancy car stops nearby and the driver calls out reader's name and they go in the car while everyone else is very confused.
The person that picked them up was zhongli and he's their dad (i think it would make more sense if he was their guardian then a love interest) and the reason they moved out to begin with was because they were tired of the Mafia shit (yes im putting the mafia au here lol) like can you even imagine how surprised diluc+keaya would if the next day when men in black suits appear at their front door and are like 'our master told us to pick y/n's things before they wake up'
And omg having Yanfei, Ganyu, and Xiao as siblings THE FUCKING POWER
Let's be honest the only reason that kazuscara and diluc and keaya made it out alive was because Reader wanted to experience what it's like to be a law-abiding citizen

And there’s you, also falling into sleep… hoping you’ll find him in your dreams, being the sole recipient of his care as you receive the depth and magnitude of his love… and this is when he’s not even fully conscious…
it’s been six months since you left mondstadt, and albedo doesn’t let himself stop and think
he buries himself further in his work, ironically enough. because every time he pauses, every time he lets his mind drift to you, he feels something twist in his chest
and he thinks he’s doing fine. when he’s working, he’s okay
still, he sometimes finds himself looking over his shoulder to find you — expecting you to be sitting next in the stool that he had always reserved for you. only to remember that you’re no longer there
still, he keeps the stool there. a reminder, and a hope
he sometimes finds the small trinkets you’ve left behind for him — the bracelets you’ve made
he finds little sticky notes that you used to stick around his lab with little reminders of make sure to eat :) and love you
and every time, his heart constricts
but the worst is when he stops and rests, and he’s alone in his bed, wondering how he thought this would last forever
when you used to talk about going to liyue, you used to say that you and him would keep in contact through letters. but his mailbox remains empty
and it’s deserved — he knows it’s deserved, but it doesn’t stop the feeling of despair that clutches his chest
and sometimes, after a long day of work, he wants nothing more than to collapse in your arms as you hum and brush his hair out of his face for him. he wants nothing more than to just lean on you as you read, and fall asleep
but the lights to the house are always off. and it’s always empty
emotion is something that albedo doesn’t express often — but sometimes when he’s left alone and he’s too tired to work anymore, he leans his back against the door and puts his head in his hands and cries
he hears of your return from sucrose — its said that you were at the tavern, saying your hellos to everyone again
