hot take but if a woman can be charged with murder for having an abortion, then men should be charged with manslaughter when women die in labor.
a lot of yall are putting unrealistic hypotheticals in the comments about what should happen to men, and while i do agree with them, i made this post with 100% sincerity. if a woman dies in childbirth, the man that got her pregnant is responsible. she wouldn't have died if he had never gotten her pregnant. he killed her. she died because of him. his orgasm & dreams of fatherhood were more important to him than another human being's life. he has blood on his hands.
I’d even go as far as to say when a man gets a woman pregnant who doesn’t want to be pregnant and she gets an abortion, he is an accomplice in “murder” and should be punished the same. He decided to impregnate a woman who doesn’t want to be pregnant, after all. 🤷♀️
