Why I am insane

So yall know Britomart FGO? A Servant that's pretty forgotten after her release in MorganFest... Well for some fucking reason I went fucking insane for her and had a complete HC about her being the daughter of Artoria and Guinevere because I am not ok, and I will share it here because you all have to accept my brainrot so less begin because yall have no option:

First of all, we know from Canon that the Britomart we haven't isn't the original Britomart but rather her daughter, she herself is the second generation Britomart who is using her Mother's Name and Armor to get a name for herself

We also know that Britomart has a Human Father and a Fae Mother which is a rather common trope in Medieval Stories, and we also know that she holds great admiration towards the KOTR and the Fae KOTR

Now, what does that have to do with her being the daughter of Artoria and Guinevere? Well, in a 1978 novel known as Arthur Rex we are given the idea that after the fall of Camelot Guinevere became a wandering knight... By the name of Britomart

Now, if we use Arthur Rex then that would imply that Guinevere was the original Britomart. And the question of the FGO Britomart saying that she has a Human Father and a Fae Mother can be explained through Artoria being refered mainly via male terms and the idea of a Human becoming a Fae being rather common in Medieval literature/Fairy Tales

This then give us the timeline that before the fall of Camelot (Most likely a month or two before) Guinevere would end up pregnant with Artoria's child, then the Fall happens and she becomes Britomart to try to atone for her part on it, eventually ending in the Land of the Fae where she would give birth to their daughter

Of course, this is mostly HC but it does have some foundations specially with Britomart's own lines towards different characters, specifically her lines towards Artoria/Arthur which do seem akin to a Child finally getting to meet their parent (Plus her line towards Arthur has that same sort of confusion Mordred has towards Arthur)

We even have her line towards Mordred which is interesting to see given how she refers to the idea of having an awesome parent

Finally and this is my most recent proof, I came across the figure of Melora who is canonically the daughter of Arthur and Guinevere who crossdressed as a Knight… Something that sounds very similar to the story of Britomart

And with the idea that Britomart is more so a title than an actual name, that would mean that Britomart's real name is Melora. Making her the second Daughter of Artoria and Guinevere

So in short, FGO's Britomart would actually be Melora, Artoria and Guinevere's Daughter... And yes, I am absolutely insane for this but my brain has rotted enough that I basically take this as canon so now you all will too as this is now my daughter whom I love a lot
