everyone has a unique scent, and i’m sure you’ve recognized other people’s scents before. can you do that with your own pets, or any animals you’re very close to?
distinct animal smells not specific to an individual animal or its immediate family* don’t count, ie. “i think the horses at work smell good!” wouldn’t count, assuming they’re describing the general smell of any nonspecific group of horses. in contrast “my horse Bailey smells different than all other horses to me, and she smells bad :(” would count, because it’s the unique, terrible scent of Bailey the Horse
*i assume like people, animal’s family members, especially blood-related, may smell similar to each other
