@mental-insane

I make videos I guess. Just kinda do whatever. My interests range in the billions. In a constant state of limbo.

Date idea:

You talk about all your hyperfixations while I listen-

..and make dinner.

Then we get married and do that for the rest of our lives, the end.

it's crazy how many health services are harder to access when you're sick/disabled like hi yes if you want an appointment please make a phone call at 8am and then go to an in person appointment and then you may get referred to a specialist three hours away. this is surely fair and balanced yes yes.

I’ve literally never gotten a doctor’s appointment scheduled later than 12. It’s always like 9-11 A.M. How the fuck am I supposed to get there on time, dude? Also bold of you to assume I have transport.

guy sitting in front of me in class was vandalizing wikipedia and i kept reverting his edits as soon as he made them and he couldn't figure out why it was happening

absolutely

actually I think it should be illegal to own a home you don't live in. ill be generous to the snow birds because in an ideal world i too would like to live in different locations depending on the weather. but you gotta live in a home minimum four months out of the year. landlords should be viewed with the same disdain and mistrust afforded to loan sharks.

A big reason why I think I became a marxist is bc I read A LOT of Calvin & Hobbes and Bill Watterson really went out of his way to lay the groundwork for teaching people critical analysis. Like take this panel for example:

EVERYTHING one knows about American/Western culture, especially in the late 80's/early 90's, would lead to the logical next line being some form of "Kids These Days Are Succumbing To The Evils Of Satan" or some likewise cheap Reaction™ But then Bill pulls the rug out

He criticizes the "satanic" bands not for some lack of christian morals but because theyre a byproduct of hyperconsumptionist culture. Bill takes no issue with the subject matter bc his issue is knowing its only being done to sell rebellion as a consumer product rather than to say anything truly provocative or inspired.

Meeting people whose family isn't fucked up is fucking baffling. Like you're trying to get to know someone and map out which one of their parents is the evil one and if the other parent is also a victim or were they a passive enabler who just didn't bother to protect their kids, and the fuck you mean it's neither?? Like neither of your parents is a deeply, profoundly, fundamentally a bafflingly evil person??

Like are you sure you're an adult who has a thorough in-depth understanding of interpersonal relationships, and you know what their dynamic is like? You are? You just genuinely did not grow up living under the same roof as the worst person you've ever known?

What the fuuuuck.
