in my brain there’s a version of the livestream experience where sometimes the drums are played by a guy who is not Josh but he looks just enough like Josh to make you a double take. for Good Day Dema the bishops put a smiling curly haired stranger on stage to perform with Clancy, but just like the hosts the drummers keep rotting. and everytime they swap the drummers out, Clancy’s heart stops because he thinks for a second that they’ve actually managed to take Torchbearer too, but it’s just another corpse
I was thinking the other day about all the concrete and stone that Dema is made of and where it came from. was it shipped in through the port? or is Trench covered in mining scars from having her stone and rock and sand harvested for its construction? does Trench still feel those missing pieces? does Dema remember what it used to be?
like actually what were they feeding tyler when they were shooting the trench MVs he looks so small and wet and doe-eyed its like crazy.
