redbubble sent out this email earlier today:

that means they will take 20% to 50% ADDITIONALLY from monthly sales, on top of the already existing account-tier fees! if you are curious as to what i earn from a redbubble sale, it’s not a lot ↓ and this is also the total of what i’ve earned with redbubble since i’ve made my account. i’ve sold a total of 103 items, and that’s it. subtracting another 20% is just… absolutely insane to me, let alone 50%!!!!

what redbubble wants to implement is absolutely insane, and will just ensure artists are paid even less for, let’s be so for real, mediocre merchandise.

artists that are on redbubble: SPEAK UP! boycott redbubble, stop using the service, threaten to jump to other POD shops. we need to stop letting big companies exploit us, they ask for a dollar and we get a fucking cent
