    Hi, just want to let you know that I appreciate your efforts white-knuckling it through a fandom's instincts to lower the conflict, tension, and stakes of a ship by being like "it's an open-marriage!" "jud changes branches!" "they find a way to be intimate without breaking a vow of chastity!"

    I get the impulse, but much like you, I am also drawn to JudBlanc thanks to the impossible tension of their canon situation.

    i really appreciate this ask and i do think fandoms tend to like to soften canon a bit so they can use it for escapism and theres nothing inherently wrong w that so as fun as it is for me to get to share my hot takes as the edgy bitch that i am i would hate to start stepping on anyone else’s headcanons bc that would just stop making this fun. all those concepts you listed are also completely within the realms of possibility for judblanc and can come with their own complexity. i love seeing most things ppl come up with for them i just also have to kind of toe the line with how hard i want to personally agree or disagree when they bring it to my inbox which can be tricky bc i am very opinionated but i appreciate ppl coming to my askbox w their opinions too
