LJ One of my favourites! Favorite track: Wait in Line.
Slade
Slade thumbnail
Slade High tension, punkish hard rock. Great live band as well. Favorite track: Acetate.
Sekator

Sekator The first noise-rock album I bought since Jesus Lizard 20+ years ago.

It's an absolute ripper of an album, Excellent production and top-notch demented songwriting.

The pissed-off vocals could be used to peel paint off the walls. Love the twisted guitar riffs as well.

Killer. Favorite track: Spit You Out.

Tim Grady I wasn't sure if they could match their debut but my goodness.. Another white knuckle, adrenaline fuelled, belter of a record! Every bit as visceral and abrasive as their debut LP which I enjoyed greatly. METZ make noise rock of the highest calibre. Cannot recommend this record enough. Every track is pure win! Favorite track: Acetate.

about

METZ Toronto, Ontario

The sonic trajectory of METZ; Alex Edkins (guitar & vocals), Hayden Menzies (drums), & Chris Slorach (bass), captures the journey of a band shedding influences & digging deeper into their core—steady propulsive drums, chest-thumping bass lines, bloody-fingered riffs, & the howling angst of fading innocence. A Deluxe Edition of their ST album feat. 3 tracks from a BBC session is out now. ... more
