chat in invis odyssey au forget about odyssey duo and walk with me for a second. do we think ash would slowly get more and more satisfied/content watching wifies & parrot's relationship fracture over time because it'd affirm his philosophy (as per the spoke infiltration ep) that you can't really trust your friends and that everyone around you is ultimately just a stepping stone/tool to be used and betrayed for the purpose of gaining more power regardless of the rationale. do we think ash would intentionally gravitate towards wifies because wifies is more ruthless and powerhungry than parrot (even if for a different purpose than ash). do we think ash would try to convince wifies that he'll always be on his side Yes because it gives him satisfaction to manipulate/control wifies so effectively by hanging parrot over his head but Also because ash himself is kind of lonely and enjoys the fact that wifies is a captive audience that lowkey agrees with all his ideas about fear & control being the best way to keep people exactly where you want them to be (ash re: the server & wifies re: parrot). Do we think parrot would ultimately feel so left out & alone because he KNOWS something is going on between ash & wifies but he's the object of their mutual control complexes and isn't privy to the same knowledge that ash & his circle of diamond players is and even though wifies promised he'd keep parrot in the loop at first, he stops doing so as he starts gravitating towards ash's ideals and starts making all the decisions for parrot instead. OK this came back to odyssey duo but you understand me

it's like i think parrot is so used to having wifies be his best friend & unconsciously knowing that wifies is attached to him and him alone that the wifies-ash situation would throw him sooooo hard. parrot has nobody else to turn to/is totally isolated other than for wifies but he's watching wifies pull away from him/not wholeheartedly support him anymore/seemingly turn towards someone else Other Than Him (even though to wifies he's only doing it For Parrot to begin with) ok. you get it. you know what i mean

It's kinda insane how much Minecraft is looked down upon tbh. As like. An art form. A skill. A roleplay and storytelling format. Whenever you get a glance outside the Minecraft sphere you're really hit with a realisation of just how disrepected it is. It's crazy. Minecraft is not only one of the biggest formats on YouTube/streaming, it was also one of the major things that cemented the base of the YouTube letsplay format. It's such an enormously varied space. Look at the artistry of builders vs the high level skill of top PvPers vs the knowledge and dedication of speedrunners vs the creativity of roleplayers and storytellers. And yet it's shoved off to the side in any discussion. Actually so ridiculous.

these screenshots taken from video fanfictions on youtube from 2009 will never not be funny to me
