small collection of max’s ‘if daniel was ok with it, I was ok with it' moments for visual learners like myself:

them vs. the rb academy ahead of the 2017 austrian grand prix where max was clearly very frustrated by the activity, so daniel decides to play court jester to make max laugh and loosen up. using humor to be kind (x)

also in 2016-17, both times they were playing ice hockey and just having a blast despite the fact they both spent more time falling over than on their feet (note: max disappointed when he misses a goal but still having fun because…it’s with daniel ofc) (x) (x)

next, the incredible caravan video of 2018 where you can just tell max was a little nervous/unsure about how much damage they were allowed to do, but daniel went full-send and had him doubled-over crying with laughter (x)

this absolutely dumb bit that daniel starts and max creasing with delight. dumb and dumber in action (x)

a small moment, but one of my faves: them playing soccer together at the 2016 italian grand prix. max with his awkward little crossed feet and daniel with his dumbass ‘honey badger’ written in sharpie on his socks to make max laugh (x)

2. them playing samurai together and max actually being fully out of his shell, playing into the bit, has spent enough time around daniel by now that he knows they can just both be little kids and have fun <3 (x)

3 and 4. their childish water fight at the 2016 malaysian grand prix ft. traumatized king nico rosberg (x) and then turning scotty, checo and yuki into a human padel net eight years later in 2024 (every driver on the grid past or present are just victims to their clownish whims) (x)

5. I couldn’t find the posts, but them playing bumber cars with their little soap box cars at honda thanks day (?) and also max hiding behind daniel’s shoulder when they were giving some kind of presentation (pls link me if you guys know what i’m talking about. the post where max is winnie the pooh holding onto tigger (daniel’s) arm??)

+ their trip to nasa at the 2017 us grand prix where daniel was absolutely exhausted and jet lagged, kind of weirdly subdued and low-energy, and so max is actually the one to take the lead. something something ‘you’re always looking after me, so just relax now. and I’ll do it for you’ (x)

My favouritest sport fact ever is that in 1990s 2 cardiac surgeons watched an f1 race to save the lives of countless kids. The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) kept losing the lives of patients after successful heart surgeries. Specifically the 10-15 minutes after a bonefide clinically successful surgery patients would die:
