✧ Origins of your blog's name
When I first started on Tumblr, I was really into dating sims and visual novels, so my blog mainly focused on memes about them (mostly Arcana, A date with Death, Touchstarved and a few other), some of which were pretty cursed.
And Nyxan was an old OC of mine back when i was 14-16 or so. Barely even remember him, other than he was an edge lord. He got his name after Nyx, goddess of night, of course he was an edge lord. But I liked the name enough to keep it.
✧ My 'I'll always order this' food
You have no idea how much I love pasta salads. Any kind, really. If it’s on the menu, I’m definitely eating it. If there isn’t any, I do what any wise lactose-intolerant person would do: order something with a lot of cheese and suffer the consequences.

✧ Current comfort movie, show, and book
My forever comfort movie is Grease. I’ve loved it since childhood, back when I didn’t even understand what it was really about. But hey, the songs were good, and that was more than enough for my younger self. 💕 Fun fact: as a child, we had a VHS cassette with both Beauty and the Beast and Grease recorded on it. If my parents wanted a few hours of peace, all they had to do was put that on.
I have a lot of comfort series, but my most recent one is Castle... or Ouran High School Host Club, depends on the kind of comfort I need.
Not exactly a book, well, I do have the printed version, so naturally it counts as a book, but I really love rereading Morgana and Oz every so often. The slow-burn romance between the silly little tall witch and her short-king vampire just speaks to my soul... also, Victor 😩😩👌

✧ My current hyperfixation
Probably ✨ virtual photography. ✨I don’t remember the last time I was this obsessed with something. Lately, I’ve been especially into black-and-white, low-key portraits, but I’m a bit afraid they might get boring after a while, so I’ve been trying to experiment with more colorful images, preferably including storytelling.
Storytelling is really important to me, because I’m not very good with words. And by that, I mean I struggle to form even simple sentences sometimes. So my best way to tell stories is through pictures.
✧ Oddly specific things that brings me joy
Helping my kitty stretch. I have a cat who stretches in the funniest way. You hold him up on his back with both hands, and he goes into this hilarious pose. Sorry, I need to include a photo. I swear, it's not PS. 😂

Also, cuddling my other (sphynx) kitty after he’s been under a blanket for hours. His little body is unbelievably warm, like a tiny heater!
✧ What smell makes me happy
The smell of cat fur, ginger, baked apples, tobacco, pumpkin spice candles, cold winter air, old books... I don't know. There's probably more that i can't think of now.
✧ Something I loved as a kid and secretely I still do
GREASE! Wait, that's not a secret. I think I’m actually pretty open about the things I like, even those I loved as a child. But lemme come up with something fun:
I still like having competitions with my friends to see who can recognize 2000s anime openings first. (It's like a tradition for us at parties.)
I still remember all the lines of Dragon Slave from Slayers only in my first language tho, and still bring them up in every possible situation.
Don't even get me started on dating sims. Love them with all my heart. I have a tattoo inspired from My Candy Love. To anyone who doesn’t recognize it, I might seem cool, but to anyone who does, it’s obvious I’m cringe.

✧ Are you an early bird or a night owl
I feel like a constantly exhausted pigeon. I’ve managed to make a few dear friends here recently. Unfortunately, being in a different time zone makes things tricky, so I’m trying to turn myself into a proper night owl just to have more chances to chat with them.
✧ If you work, what is your profession and how do you like it
I work as a graphic designer at a marketing agency. I won’t talk about the negatives, because no one here deserves that. Instead, I’ll go straight to the bright side: I enjoy it because my work is pretty similar to what I do as a hobby. Plus, whenever I run into a problem at work and have to figure out a solution, I can often use that knowledge later in my personal projects. 🙌
✧ What's your favourite joke you told recently
Not really into classic jokes, i'm much simpler than that. Put a screaming audio track over a video of a tiny animal yawning and I’ll lose it. 😂
