I remember me and my friends in high school wearing our headphones and blasting our Sony Walkman cd players to old school elite bands like Obituary, Bolt Thrower, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, etc. Bolt Thrower are quite unique. While in the beginning, the band was very raw, had a slight grindcore element with blast beats, and other things, Bolt Thrower later found their niche with their signature slow to mid-paced war-themed death metal sound. The IVth Crusade, in my opinion, is their best.
