“Kids Helping Kids”
MUSICTHON 2026

MRMTA has helped children access music programming regardless of income or needs through its annual “Kids Helping Kids” Musicthon fundraiser, with $251,082 donated to date. Our 37th annual Musicthon 2026 will showcase student performances at Outlet Collection Winnipeg (555 Sterling Lyon Parkway) the weekend of February 7-8, 2026.

MRMTA is again partnering with United Way Winnipeg, supporting youth music programs at a variety of their donor-funded agency partners across Winnipeg, such as: Teen Stop Jeunesse, Rossbrook House, Mood Disorders M.A.D. Camp (Music, Art and Drama), Graffiti Art Programming, ACOMI, West Broadway Youth Outreach, The Peaceful Village and Urban Circle Training Centre. These free music programs offer youth opportunities to play a variety of instruments, sing, provide song writing workshops, create soundtracks and record music.
