Rumble: What Starscream? You trying to become leader.

Starscream: *chuckles humorless* Yeah yeah I get it. I'm just wondering why you chose someone who you think of as weak or incompetent or an idiot as second in command.
*silence falls over and even Megatron looks surprised
Starscream: All of the Decepticons look up to you and respect you including my own time who will always be more loyal to you than they ever will to me. Frag I even looked up to you once and I was loyal once. But not once did you ever respect what I had to say or even when I carried out your orders and that was all before we came here and before the usurpation attempts. Do you want to know why I stopped being loyal to you? Well look around you. We're constantly starving, we still haven't won the war and now we aren't even on our home planet anymore and yOU DON'T SEEM TO CARE!!! ALL YOU EVER SEEM TO CARE ABOUT IS DESTROYING OPTIMUS PRIME WHEN ALL THAT HAS LED TO IS THE SITUATION WE'RE CURRENTLY AT NOW!!!! PIT I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT WE'RE EVEN FIGHTING FOR!!!
Starscream:*deep breath in* Not only that whenever I warned you of anything you seemed to brush it aside like what I said never even matter to you. You never listened to my advice on the science side of things like with that asteroid. It seems like I'm only here for you to bark at and nothing else. Maybe if I was like Soundwave you would actually listen to me. And on that note, everyone here has called me a coward including but yet I'm the only one who seems to have what the humans call a spine to call out some of your most inane plans and to actually try and do something about our situation because I know you're leading us all to ruin and you yourself always called retreat the second a fight doesn't go your way and everyone's to busy trying to cozy up to you or kissing your aft and you are too busy with this stupid vendetta to actually see how bad everything is. Do you want to know why I want to lead? If you're thinking to satisfy my ego then you would only be partially correct. I want to lead because I want to return to our former glory. I want this stupid war over nothing to end. I want us to stop wasting resources on this foolish farce of a war. But I know now this what everyone wants to waste their time with because they're all loyal to you and rather waste away to nothing instead of ending this nonsense war.
Starscream: *sign* I'm leaving my position to Soundwave or Thundercracker whichever you deem fit for this position because they would rather lick your fucking pedes than have the courage to point out any bad plan you've made. I'm done with this war and the Decepticons.

I wish more transformers media really showed off why Starscream is considered the best air commander/flier. I want him to be an actual threat way more often. I want to see people ducking and hiding when they hear him flying overhead. I want to feel the tension of it. I want to see him in dogfights absolutely dominating the air. I want him to be one of those goons who's secretly hyper competant on the field it's just that he's so focused on usurping Megatron he often gets easily distracted when his boss is around bc of it
