I Am Your Tutor AKA Kishi Knight! AKA Kateikyoshi no Kishi Knight desu. (Japan) press info - Directed by Naho Kamimura (Our Dining Table) starring Sawamura Rei (Happy of the End) and Tanaka Koki (Sugar Dog Life) based on the manga by Hiromasa Okujima (Baban Baban Ban Vampire). Kishi, a super tutor with a handsome appearance and graceful manners, gently and sweetly teaches hardcore delinquent Toru, who is bewildered by Kishi's charm.

Countdown to Yes AKA Until My Best Friend Says Yes (Japan) trailer - Adapted from the popular manga. Minato (Kaname Yoshizawa of GNJB, experienced actor) and Wataru (Kakeru Amemiy of GENIC, fresh face) became best friends through photography and sharing a room during university. When Minato moves across the country for work, Wataru realizes he is smitten. 3 years later, Minato returns home and wants Wataru to live with him again. Wataru rejects the offer, preferring friendship over a potentially fleeting romance. Minato is havign none of it.

Cosmetic Playlover season 2 (Japan) - I loved this little show which means I am extra scared about a season 2. Especially since the doggrel is "their long distance relationship is put to the test." Could Japan PLEASE have an ORIGINAL idea for a 2nd season?

Yesterday (Thai) trailer - Revenge betrayal and messy gay meets corporate power struggles from FortPete based on Chinese IP, should be good. Of if not good at least toxic hot.

A Round Trip to Love (remake) - This is a rough one, the original story actually had a kind of happy ending, but the 2016 adaptation did not. Right now the production isn't even calling the show BL and everything is very confidential.

Children's Day in Third Year of Middle School - China-Thailand co production filming in Thailand with Chinese actors (reported filming Nov 2025) like To My Shore. Triad drama in the Gritty Hong Kong danmei style featuring political intreague and corrupt cops, all of which makes this extra challenging. About a gang enforcer & a brilliant student who start a secret relationship.

City of Angels - China-Thailand co production, Oct 2025 reported casting for Chinese speakers and mixed-heritage actors. This is a danmei (hugely popular audio drama) set in Bangkok about a Chinese drifter expat and a neglected unloved student who meets him on a trip and falls in love, eventually moving to Bangkok to chase him.

Falling into the Pond - Reported filming Sept 2025. Connected to the Meat You at the Blossom team. Based on the extremely long and wildly popular danmai, this is an angsty "other side of the tracks" reunion romance (that likely ends sadly) about boys with very checkered history and flipped power dynamics.

Korea

Never Forget Your Enemy - Supposedly high heat from Korea, from the people who brought us Love for Love's Sake staring Lee Ja Woon (model and reality TV star) and Hwanf Junsu (Bangkok Boy). Boy ends up in juvvie for hurting other boy, later that boy confesses his love.

17th Spring - (GMMTV) ChokunAston are back with PapangPodd. After his grandmother dies, Aston moves in with his uncle Podd and transfers schools. The usual high school drama componded by him being HIV+. He connects with Chokun, a bit of a deliquit who has his own struggles and lives with his teacher older brother, Papang. I like both these pairs and HS drama, but I don't want anyone to die so... I'm nervous about this one.

Akina - Same setting as TopForm universe. Not sure on the IP situation with this, may already be dead in the water.

Cupid’s Ghost - (GMMTV) EarthMix with OhmPoon as the sides. Mix is a florist who can see ghosts (more?) and is very scared of them. Cold hearted, closed off, funeral director Earth figures this out and wants him to cater to the decorative whims of the recently deceased. Ohm is a cafe owner and Poon is Earth's bestie (and they kiss prettier than I was expecting). Everyone is very aesthetically pleasing but is there chemistry?

Good Boy (GMMTV) - Office grunt Mick/New, alone and sad, is killed and sent back to high school. There he connects with school president Luke/Tay and gets a second chance at everything, including love. Luke may also be trying to fix the past. I actually like the look of this one especially if we get a lot more TayNew.

Gunshot (GMMTV) - Off is a policeman in love with Gun, a glass blower but also serial killer of bullies (revenge based). Has the feel of a gritty one act. I'm concerned that Director Koo is not known for dark, if this were Director Anucha I'd be intersted, but as it stands, this is not for me.

I Will Always Save You (GMMTV) - JimmySea are back but I'm wary. Singer Sea (no singing!) witnesses a hit and goes into witness protection program with Lt Jimmy on the case. They have bad blood over an ex-gf. Sea is a wild card who can't stay out of the spotlight and Dunk wants him dead. Not gonna lie, I kinda do too. This is my least favourite character archetype in one of my favourite pairs. So I am torn. But Dunk seems to be enjoying himself (always a good sign).

Identity Zero - MosBank are now under iQIYI (they left StarHunter as a pair).

Kiss Me Remember (GMMTV) - AMNESIA TROPE ALERT! Kin (from 2024's The Hidden Moon which I watched but do not remember at all) plays a bullied high school kid who saves Barcode's life. Barcode has lost his memory and it can only be recovered with Kin's kisses. (Is this adult + a minor? I'm a bit worried.) Barcode agrees to fight off Kin's bullies in exchanged for said kisses, but the things he starts to remember threaten their burgeoning love. That twist is nifty and I'm intrigued because of it.

Lately It's Winter Season: Fourever You2 - Side couple folded into a mafia situation.

Love Harvest - Adapted from the web novel The Poor.

Love Upon a Time (was 2023 officially moved to 2025) James pulled out, JJ is in but this has been an awful long time coming and Thai historicals did NOT perform well in 2025 so not sure about this one.

Love3 - got nothing

Lovers & Gangsters (GMMTV) - Well well well, Great & Bright was not on my bingo card as a pair, that's for damn sure. I'm not mad about it tho. GMMTV does Bangkok Boy light, I guess? Adapted from the novels Hong Sen Kao Yot and Seng Khluk Fun by rolisrose. I'm interested to see ForceBook be serious (and violent) as I don't think comedy is their strong suit, so maybe this is? Except this criminal underworld drama does not actually look serious. In fact, it looks like very silly camp noir. So bad it's good kinda of bad. I'm game for this level of stupidity.

Match Point (GMMTV) - Finally GMMTV is bringing us a sports BL staring TeshowPing. I don't think Ping is a particularly strong actor and I don't know Teshow but maybe they will surprise me. This is Bad Buddy plays tennis so I'm not exactly upset.

Moonlit Starlight - Just after wrapping filming on his first project, rising Y star Jingjing was slandered, becoming a scapegoat in a scandal that shook the industry. His dreams shattered, he disappeared from the industry for over two years. (Wait, didn't we just watch this?)

Mr.Kill (GMMTV) - DewTee is a hotly anticipated pair and I would be all in on this if I knew it was an actual BL. Because it's a detective investigating a serial killer who is is using a web comic as inspo. The mangaka is first a suspect and then a helper in the investigation. Or is he? I'm guessing multiple personalities but also getting W vibes, and that is one of my all time favourite Kdramas so I might watch this even if it isn't BL.

My Professional Boyfriend (GMMTV) - WinnySatang in a BL Pretty Woman? Huh. Winny (no kissing) hires sex worker Satang to be his pretend boyfriend for 3 months. Look I actually kinda like this premise but I think this is the wrong pair for it. (Should be taken away from GMMTV and handed to JimmyOhm, they'd fucking slay.)

New Boyfriend - From the I Promise I Will Come Back people so I am NOT excited about this. Yes it looks cute but I don't trust them.

Ocean's Heart - Multi couples, suspense plot, fresh faces, pulpy, interesting.

One Year - Now Thailand has found the amnesia trope it WILL NOT let it go.

Peach Lover - The kid from My Sweetheart Jom leads out a new BL. This time he is an art student in love with an x-rated live streamer who invites him to participate on screen... love blossoms.

Plan B to U (GMMTV) - Prem buys a haunted house from record company CEO Boun (no singing!) and wants revenge. Interns at his company. Hijinks ensue (as they do). I don't know... could be kinda fun?

Roommate Chaos (GMMTV) - MarkOhm and SurfJava and SaveFranc in an ensemble piece of the P10L and We Are style... from JittiRain (what joy is ours). About a bunch of roommates in a freshman dorm. I like all the pairs. Although I would consider them all "second tear" in the GMMTV pantheon. So I think this is a throw-away piece. But uni-BL is in my wheelhouse. I'm not excited about this, but I'm also not not excited. If you get what I mean?

School Aquarium - chaos from Star Hunter. As ya do.

Swing Kick (formerly Boxer) - Kockout meets Bangkok Boy in the continued obsession with high heat BL Muay Thai.

The Invisible Dragon (GMMTV) - FirstKhaotung in a show about about dragon dancers, which is nifty. This the right pair for something domestic and chewy and family drama IMHO. First is struggling to fulfil his fated role as head dragon because his heart isn't in it. Khautung admires him and wants to be part of his world. Bright is the dancing rival for the family they must merge with. I'm cautiously intersted, especially with such top notch casting.

The Spooky Love Tale (GMMTV) - PerthSanta with my new fav sides MondRyu. Santa is a horror author and sees ghosts. Perth reads that horror and sees the same ghosts. But, plot twist, when together, the ghosts disappear. Cue cohabitation trope.

Ticket To Heaven (GMMTV) - Prev for 2025, officially moved release to 2026. GMMTV doing a Boy Foretold by Stars concept? Interesting, did not have religious boundary pushing and bildungsroman down on any BL bingo card. This isn't my thing but I think G4 are actually going to be amazing in it and I certainly look forward to them pushing their acting chops and the discomfort something like this can cause in the viewership. I like it when BL makes people (who aren't me) uncomfortable.

Unlucky Bae (GMMTV) - ThamMac (with sides AunStamp - same as in Revamp) star in this adaptation from the novel Chut Chop Sai Mu by LuaAimei. When his boyfriend, Aun, cheats on him, sorcerer Mac curses him but accidentally gets Aun's hot bestie instead. Feeling guilty, he tries to protect Tham from his own hex. (In case you are confused like me, Mac was the uke role in that horrible Thai remake of Addicted Heroin, and Tham is a fresh face. They both babies, so this is GMMTV's debut 2026 pair) I like the premise and it looks silly and fun, will ride on the chemistry of the lead pairs so only one way to find out.

When Light Fades - One of them tourism BLs set in 1976 about a young man adventuring in the jungle.

When Oranges Fall (GMMTV) - AlmondProgress from Lovesick 2024 got scooped as a pair by GMMTV. Why tho? I don't love these 2. This is a HS piece about students who have the same name and start out hating each other but become besties and more. Coming of age, possibly bittersweet, very low heat. While I think this will play well locally, I don't love this kind of BL from Thailand and I'm not sure this has much international sticking power.

Write You Again (GMMTV) - Screw you amnesia trope, ENOUGH! Writer Krist loses his memories and returns to his hometown where he runs into Singto. Singto knows him but Krist does not. It looks a bit slow and fine, if you like that kind of thing. I don't.
