Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu 2nd Season

This season focused on a single full arc. That was good and useful for storytelling and world-building, but the downside is that if you don’t like that one event, you’ll find the whole season bad. It also removed the variety of adventures we had in the first season.

This time I’ll summarize the season through its characters without mentioning names to avoid spoilers:

The nun singer
Her role was enjoyable, and she was a central figure in this arc. She wasn’t a tragic character with a sad past; rather, she was a positive one, especially in how she faced her fear after being attacked by the main villain.
The ... negative point is that she didn’t actually sing it was just humming. If she had truly sung, the impact would have been stronger.

The main villain
He was mysterious, and we didn’t know who he really was until the end of the season. I understood his past, but it didn’t fully justify his actions. Until the very end, he remained unstable regarding his motives for everything he did.

The pink pig
The funniest enemy in terms of story, background, and even how he was defeated. The comedic writing was excellent—few works manage to make an entire story comedic rather than relying only on scattered comedic scenes.

Overall, the season was good, but not better than the first, due to the reduced focus on the main characters and the large number of side characters and enemies. They were introduced quickly and wrapped up quickly just to leave room for the final battle.
Even so, the arc was presented in an enjoyable way without feeling boring.

كان دورها ممتعًا، وكانت شخصية محورية في هذه القصة. لم تكن شخصية مأساوية ذات ماضٍ حزين؛ بل كانت شخصية إيجابية، خاصةً في كيفية مواجهتها لخوفها بعد تعرضها لهجوم من الشرير الرئيسي.
الجانب السلبي هو أنها لم تُغنِّ فعليًا، بل كانت تُدندن فقط. لو أنها غنت بالفعل، لكان التأثير أقوى.

الشرير الرئيسي
كان غامضًا، ولم نعرف حقيقته إلا في نهاية الموسم. فهمت ماضيه، لكنه لم يُبرر أفعاله تمامًا. حتى النهاية، ظل مُترددًا بشأن دوافعه لكل ما فعله.

الخنزير الوردي
أكثر الأعداء طرافةً من حيث القصة والخلفية وحتى طريقة هزيمته. كان أسلوب الكتابة الكوميدي ممتازًا - قلّما تنجح الأعمال في جعل قصة كاملة كوميدية بدلًا من الاعتماد فقط على مشاهد كوميدية متفرقة.

عمومًا، كان الموسم جيدًا، لكنه لم يكن أفضل من الأول، نظرًا لقلة التركيز على الشخصيات الرئيسية وكثرة الشخصيات الثانوية والأعداء. تم تقديمهم بسرعة واختفائهم سريعًا لإفساح المجال للمعركة النهائية.

Season 2 still has the same problems as season 1.

Excessive fan service, fan service involving a 10-year-old child with unrealistic body proportions for pedophiles. All the women have Stockholm syndrome or fetishes about the protagonist, who, I remind you, is only 10 years old!

The storyline is even more boring. Everything is predictable, nothing matters, and there is no tension.

The fights are not as good as in season 1 but remain interesting, as does the animation. It's not great art, but it works well.

The characters are still as black and white and stereotypical as ever, with generic backstories. They could have killed off one of ... the characters to add a little drama and stakes, but in the end, everything ends well and no one has any development or psychological depth... And I'm not even talking about the angel, who is boring as hell, and the big bad guy, who is as empty as he is stupid.

The music isn't too bad, but it's terribly repetitive. I overdose on it. They could have done better, like when, at the very end, she finally starts changing the lyrics to reflect what's happening on screen. That could have added a touching or funny touch, but apparently they chose the easy way out.

The French version is OK, as in season 1.

If you can ignore the weird pedo stuff, the anime is watchable. You have to turn your brain off because there's nothing intelligent or profound to be found here.

La saison 2 à toujours les mêmes problème que la saison 1.

Fan service abusif, fan service sur un enfant de 10 ans avec des proportion du corp irrealiste pour pédophile. Toutes les femmes ont des syndrome de stockholm ou des fetish sur le protagoniste, que je rapelle, n'a que 10 ans!!

Le scénario est encore plus ennuyant. Tout est prévisible, rien n'a d'importance et aucune tension.

Les combats sont moins bien que la saison 1 mais reste interessant tout comme l'animation. Ce n'est pas du grand art, mais ça fonctionne bien.

Les personnages sont toujours aussi manichéens et clichés, backstorie générique. Ils auraient pu tuer un des personnages pour rajouté un peu de drame et d'enjeu mais au final, tout fini bien qui fini bien et personne n'a eu de développement ou de profondeur psychologique... Et je ne parle pas de l'ange qui est ennuyant à mourir et du grand méchant aussi vide que stupide.

La musique n'est pas si mal mais terriblement redondant. J'en ai fait une overdose. Ils auraient pu faire mieux, comme, quand à la toute fin, elle commence enfin à changer les paroles pour refleter ce qui se passe à l'écran. Ça aurais pu rajouter une touche émouvante ou drole mais visiblement, ils ont choisis la voie de la facilité.

La version francais est Ok comme à la saison 1.

Si vous êtes capable de faire abstraction des trucs bizarre de pédo, l'anime est regardable. Il faut éteindre son cerveau car rien d'intelligent ou profond ne sera au rendez-vous.

Season 2 was a great disappointment and had everything I loved about season 1 removed.

Season 1 had incredibly satisfying pacing, plot, character development, world building and absolutely mesmerizing fight scenes. Also the ecchi moments were just spicy enough without making you feel like you're watching hentai.

Season 2 had absolutely none of these things.
Also it's clear they cheaped out on animation. Every time that nun sings (which felt like 100 times) you were watching a slideshow, and she got WAY too much screentime. There's a lot of fight scenes or chibi animation scenes that dragged and needed to be sped up or shortened. ... The whole season was dragged out for only one story arc. Terrible terrible pacing.

Season 1 made anime feel fresh and truly fun again as it had everything I could want in anime (minus shota femboy thighs). Seeing season 2 like this makes me worried if the series as a whole is done for. I'm afraid no amount of a busty nun singing, can save this season...
