Okay, I need to yell about this show for a second.
Went in totally blind, zero hype, didn’t even know it was 3 minutes per episode. Thought it’d be some cheap superhero parody and ended up snorting at my phone on the bus like an idiot.
The whole joke is that the evil organization trying to destroy the world… is just a regular Japanese company. Evil overlord? Middle manager with a comb-over. Giant kaijus? Interns in monster suits begging for overtime pay. World domination plans get shut down because accounting won’t approve the budget for the death ray. It’s so stupid it loops back around to genius.
Art’s ... this perfect ugly-cute 2000s style that looks like it crawled out of a forgotten PS2 game—fits the vibe 100 %. Characters are walking HR nightmares: the guy who’s been “acting section chief” for 8 years, the new hire who still believes in the mission statement, the boss who schedules doomsday for next quarter because this quarter’s numbers are bad. Every reaction feels like something you’ve seen at your own job, except they’re blowing up cities while crying about health insurance.
Is the plot predictable? Yeah, obviously. But who cares when every episode feels like a middle finger to real-life work culture. If you’ve ever had a stand-up meeting about the stand-up meeting, this will heal you.
7.0/10 easy. Wish it was longer but also kinda perfect that it isn’t. Just watch it, trust me.

Not many shows has dealt with the evil corporation from the salaryman's pov but here we are with Ganglion.
This is a SOL of Kenji Isobe and his daily trials on and off the job. Done by Studio Maf their first series.

Tragic and hysterical at the same time we see inside his daily routine. The humor is on the low key side but universal.
Good voice work from the cast and Youji Ueda carries the series as Kenji. Good animation and direction but off beat so
not for those that want action packed adrenaline.

Definitely for those who have experienced the joys of working for unreliable bosses. ...

Unfortunately it's not on the usual sites (CR, Hulu, etc)

I was prepared to like this anime based on the premise alone. It's told from the perspective of villains who always loose. It sounded like it could have been a parody of or commentary on comic book villains or Sentai like Go Go Loser Ranger was, but this one was just boring. It was a bit hard to follow and was sadly very dull for me. It's only an anime short with 3 episodes a piece so you can finish it in like 40 minutes or so. There are surprisingly some scant moments of impressive animation, although they don't last very long, and I do ... kind of like the villains' costumes, but unfortunately that's the most positive that I can be about it.
