TROYCA (TROYCA Inc.) is a Japanese animation studio based in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan. The studio's name is derived from the Russian word for “team of three.”
Former Anime International Company (AIC) members led by Ei Aoki (former director at AIC), Tomonori Kato (former photography director at AIC), and Toshiyuki Nagano (former producer at AIC Classic) established TROYCA Inc. to continue production of Aldnoah.Zero in May 2013; when GAIA Holdings (now Aplix Corporation) announced it had suspended AIC’s upcoming in-planning production slate in the first quarter of the same year.
In 2018, the studio absorbed Will Pallete — a Nerima-based animation studio established by former AIC Digital producer Naoto Kasahara in May 2015. As of 2024, TROYCA employs 61 full-time employees between its headquarters in Nerima, Tokyo and Fujisawa Studio in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture.
