It's understandable. Being indifferent from watching the show is indeed better than trying to find things to hate about. Which is something i avoid doing so. But it is easier said than done.

And yes, i know i tried to make sense of the movie a bit too much. Probably i'm the kind of guy who usually question too much. But that's the biggest problem with the movie, as you said. Nothing makes sense. And trying to make sense of it, is like trying to tell a story to your child about your experience with WWII, and then make up random shit just so the child cannot comprehend what you try to tell (Just an example.). There's no way that people can tell what the hell is going on with Shinji and the rest of the characters, unless you're either drunk or on drugs.

As someone who does remembers watching a film, and write what i have to say about it to keep it in my memory and my mind, i can definitely tell that this film was an disaster in every way, imaginable.

The movie pretty much lost in me with all the plotholes that never made sense from the start of the film, awful pacing that ruins and wastes the entire narrative of the film, and characters that are just as likable as those garbage fanfictional characters made by an zoomer.

You can pretty much read my note on this film, if you want, not that it matters. But seriously, even explaining the whole movie in full details literally frustrates me to no end. I've never been this frustrated in my life over an anime, alittle more frequently than i can count.

First, Midori: Shoujo Tsubaki, then Tokyo Mew Mew New, then Kibou no Chikara Precure '23, then Ladyspo, and now End of Evangelion. How did this happened to someone like me, who's usually soft on anime, and even mid-tier anime like Shadowverse? I'll never know.

yeah, I think sol and comedy are good genres too and also most weebs who have watched a lot of anime and who have long been weebs will agree with me, but tbh it's that good (although there are some people who disagree). I also rarely watch anime, even this year I haven't finished anime. Every day I have less and less time :(
