So I MAY or may not have gone a lil overboard this Christmas (I got a few other thingsbut they aren’t anime related, and I got a bunch of other cels, but I already posted them all on cel hub)

The value of anime cels is weird and the shit can vary wildly depending on what someone’s willing to fucking pay. Back when I was visiting Japan in the 2000s, I saw "Agent Aika" cels at Mandarake going for anywhere between fucking 5,000 yen up to 150,000 yen, depending on the scene. Any cel where a character was flashing their panties in the series? Obviously that shit was valued way higher. lol These days, just looking on even online sites like even fucking eBay, you can find extremely mundane Cel scenes from the original "Agent Aika" OVA, "trying" to be sold or auctioned off for up to 2,000–5,000. USDs (not even showing off panty lol). Where that type of thing would almost be worthless to someone who doesn't even collect the shit. lol Since RetroCagliostro actually paid $500 for that cel, that they shared, that’s what the shit is at least worth. |

| Finally got rod tv collectors set for under 100 dollars and the only problem is the first dvd looks like someone had molested it with their fingers or something many times. Hopefully it works after cleaning it.  |

Managed to snag an sealed copy of "Kiddy Grade" [Limited Edition] Peacekeeper release that came with not only a collectable Artbox, but with the Limited Edition "Kiddy Grade" Ballcap. One cool thing about this release is that the sealed copy of volume one seems to also comes with the 1st set of the Limited Edition Collection Cards. Which I previously missing out on back in early 2004.   The "Kiddy Grade" Ballcap is nice because the last one I had got completely faded so I threw the shit out a while back.  This last image is just flexing my current Season One "Kiddy Grade" collection, just for the fuck of it. lol |

| Started collecting the 1/8 PVC Yamato Extra Story Image Figure! for "Ikkitousen" recenty, and managed to snag both Shimei Ryomou and Hakufu Sonsaku decked out in their classic school uniforms. While the shit was originally claimed that neither boxes were opened before, a finger print mark is clearly seen inside one of the packages. lol Still on the fence about whether to eventually open the shit up or just keep them boxed. If one day these figures do get unboxed, maybe more pictures will come of them to share.    Either way, this shit is a really nice addition to the "Ikkitousen" collection that is currently going on. :) |

| I'm still waiting for it to ship, but to my surprise, it turned out there was like, exactly ONE piece of Ray merch released for the anime that actually bothers to make her at least 1% as uncanny as she was in the game and manga. So of course I had to get it. Seriously, why did they "kawaii-fy" her in the anime so much? Disappointing.  |

| Scored fucking big time this evening! Stopped by my local bookstore that takes in used books, CDs, DVDs, video games, collectibles, etc... and it turns out someone recently traded in their entire anime collection for store credit there. While browsing some of the new shit that came in, I noticed the first season of "Full Metal Panic!" and "Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu" in their original DVD volumes. To top it off, the shit barely looked like it was ever used at all. The best part? I bought it all with mostly store credit. lol Every disc is spotless, all the art inserts are included, and even the collectible Artboxes are in great condition. The only thing missing was the limited-edition ADV T-shirt. This is a very nice upgrade to my collection and officially replaces my “Full Metal Panic! – Heavy Metal Collection” set (which crammed both Season 1 and Fumoffu onto just six fucking discs). lol  Particularly love the original ADV volumes of the 1st season because they have reversable art sleeves for the cases.      |
