| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I actually thought this match was pretty entertaining. Aoyama finally got to play a bit and even used Shindou's Presto Turn. Kageyama, Nishiki, and Amagi all used new hissatsu's as well. Shinsuke played a little goalkeeper, which had been hinted at in earlier episodes. Next week's episodes looks interesting as Tenma and Gouenji finally meet. |

| Yeah, I didn't really get it either, I thought he was put in to stop that Maboroshi Shot but that wasn't the case. I guess they just wanted him to get some experience? He'll probably become full time goalkeeper once the third years eventually graduate. |

I was surprised the keeper managed to block Shindou's shoot. It's got an interesting gambling mechanic in it like a gatcha game. Extend Zone!  Anybody can be a better goalkeeper than Sangoku.  Nishiki's Denrai Houtou looks like Edgar's Excalibur! I love it!  A hissatsu technique for Amagi!  |

| Ngl thought Shinsuke was gonna defend with his quick reactions Mahoro's shoot, but it was satisfying. Pretty intense episode! |
