Welcome to My Profile!
About me
Hi guys! how are you? :D I'm Ichigo, nice to meet you!
I'm energetic, fun, and talkative person, I love meeting and talking to people and it's always fun and exciting to meet people from new cultures and have a bond with people you would never meet otherwise, that's what I call magical! ^^
My beliefs about life include looking at events in a rational way and understand what we do to improve from them, taking actions if we really really want something, and remembering that even if we feel lost sometimes, we all pass similar things, and every one of us finds their own best method to overcome them, humans are very similar in this sense.
Anime in my opinion is a huge source of excitement and source of happiness, it's motivational, inspirational, it fills your heart with positive emotions, and it makes you feel like you never felt before, thus, anime is special in this sense, thanks to it, we're here, and we have an awesome community! :D
My 3 special Animes
Kaleido Star
I watch that anime first time at age 9, I was so young and yet this anime felt like real magic to me! I remember myself just sit and can't take my eyes off the screen, I would re-watch those 2 episodes the day after and think about them for the whole week, I really loved circuses since then, and it became my favorite type of show, the main character Sora taught me to always smile even when it's difficult, and to have the energy to keep going on and do my best <3
Your Lie in April
At age 18 I watched Your Lie in April, at first, it seemed like a normal anime, not something I would remember for years, but as the story progress, you get more and more and more and more attached to Kaori and Arima, their story, their resemblance, the understanding you get that both extroverts and introverts are actually similar, the difference is, that extroverts hold their fear and keep going, they know they can't let their fear control them and they do their best to be as productive and outgoing as they can alongside it,
Some events changed Kaori to be the person she was, some events changed Arima to be the person he was, we are all results of the events we passed in our life, and both positive and negative events change us for the better or the worse,
Kaori taught me that I can get rid of my glasses even if I'm scared, I can put on contacts even if I'm shaking in my whole body while I'm doing it in first times, she taught me we all start from somewhere.
Aria
This show is what I would define as true happiness, Venice's theme, the city of water, the gondolas, the characters, everything in it is peaceful, but not just in a slice of life way of peaceful, it create a true peace in your mind and your heart, it teaches you that the normal scenery you see every day, can look completely different depend on how kind you were to people and how kind they were to you,
It depends on how you see the world through your eyes and your beliefs, and the scenery becomes colorful when you have hope and feel satisfied with your self-growth and improvement.
Facts about me!
- I love summer clothes! I love dresses, and I adore high heels shoes! -
- My favorite season is the spring, right after it it's the fall, I love seeing the trees during this season, the scenery is orangish and reddish, this is what I call, magic ^_^ -
- It's funny to say it but, I'm very skinny, I hate feeling cold! absolutely hate it! if it's cold, I get sick short after xD hahahahahahaha -
- but, even though I hate feeling cold, I love seeing snow, I love touching snow, I love the white scenery, which brings me to the next fact about me: -
- My favorite color is white after it comes blue, red, pink and violet! :) -
-I love snowmen! I find them so cute! I got 3 snowmen on my desktop and I adore them! XD -
- I love Korean dramas and good Live Adaptations as much as I love anime! I find them fascinating and magical to watch! -
- I love potatoes, it's absolutely my favorite type of food! give me a good with potato and I'm a happy human being XDDD yummy yummy yummy -
- I love cooking pasta! I'm making one of the most delicious pasta, and I love the Italian vibe this food gives me every time I cook it and smell it! XD delicious ;D
- I love watching my anime only with speakers, I always listen in full volume so I can grasp every experience to the fullest in the show I'm watching! ^_^
- I adore LEDs! my whole pc is full in LEDs, give me more and more and more LEDs, and I'm a happy human being XD leds is love, leds is life ;D -
- I love the fantasy genre, I love things being magical and outstanding! I love being impressed by things I never knew could exist before! :D -
- Space and the black hole are topics that really interest me, I always wondered what is inside of the black hole, is it really only death? is it some defect in the universe? is it a door to a different universe? this is, also, outstanding, and magical for me :)
If you have read up here, that means you already know a lot about me as a person as well as my view on life, thank you for reading and caring!
Now, come say hi and let's get to know you as a unique human being too! :D
Have an amazing day guys! see you around <3

I'm doing great these days, got to meet my new niece for the first time last Summer, and spend time with friends I hadn't seen in a while. I also got more together after a depressing start to 2025 where I lost two people close to me, and got an employment councilor to help me with getting the ceritifications needed and other requirements to find work. Thanks to that in part, but also to the work I put in, I managed to land a job last month, and will be starting that soon, once training and the paperwork is done!:)
Hope you're doing great as well, friend! XD
And You're Very Welcome, hope you had some good ones~!^v^
Replying to the other comment~
Yeah, we're in the final stage of the braces (I should have them removed by May this year, if everything goes well!) so unfortunately, there is a lot of pressure on my teeth rn, and it hurts sometimes as well..x'd I thankfully am done with elastics though, which was the most annoying part (I didn't do them much because it was very annoying to have to wait until I went to bed to put them on, since they annoy me and I want them as less long as possible tbh, but I'm always too tired by the time I need to put them on, or just forget about them)..>.<'3
I will say, its probably worth it, but only if you REALLY need it. In my case, my upper front teeth were so inclined, they almost touched my upper lips, but now they're aligned and it doesn't cause trouble anymore so I'm glad I did it (I just want to eat my favorite nougat already, lol!x'D)!
Thank you for the compliments! If he were around these days, and still in his good mind, I'm sure he would have loved hearing about this!vuv
Sadly not much, at least, not that I remember. But I can ask my mom about it, since she would know more I think.^^'3
I do remember them saying they liked the experience though but there was also a bit of friction because of the upcoming Gulf War which was already on the horizon (this was in 1988 iirc).
Ohh that's so sad, my friend.. Hopefully you are safe, wherever you are.. :'(
Ohh, that's interesting! I'm sure you would love that teacher I told you about then, lol! He's a huge fan of Hebrew/Jewish culture!XD
I only know a little bit of Russian too, mostly from what I've heard in anime/manga/LNs but also because my brother speaks the language!:)
Interesting that you use the same websites to learn languages as we do! I also use Kanji Studies (its an app) for learning Japanese kanji! Did you know that the kanji for flute is the longest one, with 17 strokes? Any kanjis that have more strokes than 17 are actually Chinese characters only!^^
Thank you, and it was great! I met with friends I hadn't seen in a while, and we had a drink together (it was the first time we could legally drink together outside like this, since the age to drink here in Ontario is 19 and we hadn't met since the Pandemic was a thing, lol..) and enjoyed good food as well! We went to this Izakaya place in town, so it felt very "Japanese" and it tickled my otaku blood, ehe~!xD
I'm 26 now, almost 26 and a half, so we're quite close in age!:) I feel older than that sometimes though, haha, because I already have posture problems, and sore aches in the muscles from time to time.. Though part of it is due to my medical condition (diabetes type 1)..=v='3
Hopefully I feel younger at 27 too, lol!x'D9
That one didn't go that well. I did have something around then but it felt mostly temporary and I think another one got back to me and said I might be good for something else, but they never got back to me after that..:<
Ohh, I see.. That was a wise decision my friend, I feel the same way sometimes lol.. I will cram gaming sesh in the late evenings because of a lack of time to play in the day, but that's no good, since I end up sacrificing precious sleeping time when I do that..xd It doesn't help that I have a ton of games and gaming projects to do, sadly.. :/
I hope you managed to stick with your decision, if it made you a better person! I don't think I could ever cut it off completely, but I do feel I could do less of it, lol, since I don't have time for other hobbies either when I get into a gaming obsession like that..=v='3
I'm independant for the most part (can cook, do chores, etc.) but because of my medical condition, I sometimes feel lost when I'm alone and afraid of not being in control if something happens and I have a bad blood sugar crash, for example..:(
As long as you learn the basic and have a balanced nutrition, it should be good, lol!x'D9
The driving lessons went well, and I passed the class (got the license first try, actually!) Now i'm on step 2 of 3 for the permanent pemit, and I haven't driven a car in years, so I'm a little worried..^^'33
Dw, I'm sure you will get it! ... Eventually!x'D
Wow, that's nice! I'm still using a 90's keyboard, lol, RIP..x'd Its kinda groody, actually..>.>;
I hope you can get your computer fixed as well!! My laptop sadly stopped working properly last Summer, mouse problems, and then in Fall when I finally got it fixed, kind of, the plastic part holding the screen decides to pop off..;-; I can still use it, but I have to be careful, and only in moderation, because it will break eventually if I don't..x'd
I'd love to see the new get up btw (for your computer lol), if you don't mind sharing, that is!:D
Thank you, thank you! I hope I don't get bigger, lol, I'm already big enough.. Taller though would be nice, even if ever slightly, lol..x'D>
Same to you, friend!^^/ I was glad to hear from you again!:)
Stay safe, wherever you are! >:D9
☆.。.:*・・°★.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆ »•» Merry Christmas! «•« ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°★.。.:*・°☆
Oh thats nice, you got LED keyboard? What did you replace gaming with?
Never took you for computer science student but if you enjoy it then thats awesome, you want to do programming?
Indeed, do you talk to a lot of old friends? I myself have spent more and more alone time, seems better, less drama, your own company is always fun.
Lol, yeah, I can see you haven't changed much over the years (you have matured) but the core of your personality has always been there xd
Nothing much changed for me, the same old, I am enjoying my uncle status :D
The discord one was actually a reminder to resume the convo, I stopped replying there because your last message was just "meh, it is what it is", and while that's true, it's not really what anyone wants to hear, let alone a response that naturally merits continuation. Anyway, that drama at work seems to be over now since no one talks about it anymore and people just kinda moved on to their shit like thinking about the holidays and stuff
I actually have been sick for a few days now. This birthday layout I am using now was made in April, and even back then I knew I usually tend to be busy or demotivated on the latter parts of the year so I'm lucky I prepared for it. I have about a week's worth of time off later this month too lmao
That's true, part of me do want to accomplish those things but idk, the motivation just kinda dies each time passes, plus responsibilities and bills keeping me where I am lol
That's nice, what other classics outside of Monster have you seen? Have you seen Ergo Proxy? although that one might be too weird for you?
That paid more thing is absolute horseshit lol. Hierarchies are there for a reason. And even if it's true, the provider role immediately diminishes any surplus you get from your pay, making it ultimately meaningless haha
As of last year I've been grinding on steam. Really hooked to this game, Uma Musume. They have an anime too, here's the op/ed if you wanna check it out
There was nothing left to say on the discord convo. That really is just the sad reality of life. Luckily that employee is still around. It's just that the atmosphere around work has become more dense and I've been more demotivated to work on things so far
Yeah, if you can find a different temporary job that allows remote work maybe you can try that in the meantime
That's what I do. I use the account out of habit but barely use it as much as I once did
Well, although I understand that, the problem with being old is that there's now less time for you to work on exploring yourself and the world. That's why it's always a bummer for late bloomers. People will always feed you with motivating bullshit but you know for yourself it's not true
I hope to actually get the mood to watch it. I have shit to do even during my day off. Sleep is no longer a luxury. It's just sleep
My ex was also cancer lmao. I remember that one of the things I like about Senjougahara was the symbolism that reminded me of my ex, Yandere, cancer and first lol
At work now and few times over the years I've tried getting a new one but I just can't make that connection anymore lol. Everything feels forced, and faked
lmao ye, I feel the same except idk. I feel more disgust. In your case they leave once it's been made clear, but in my case some parasites stay because they'll try to milk whatever they can, however much they can from you. I remember this one female coworker who suddenly started talking to us just because her boyfriend was on leave. True enough she stopped once he came back.
Well, I'm not saying it's ALL shallow. But it is mostly shallow, and you can't disprove that. Culture itself has degraded and that's just that
That's not the point I'm making specifically but generally I guess it all does end up concluding over there. All relationships do change, but when I was ranting about sexes, I was talking about ulterior motives and facades. Anyway that's all for now
I hope your exams and math classes went well.
Is it difficult to study and go back to school after being away for a while? I know that for some people it can be really hard. That’s why, even though I graduated a while ago, I try to study a little bit every day to stay used to it.
I was wondering, how do you organize your life at school? Do you usually study with a computer, or are you more old-school with handwritten notes and books?
Anyways, I wish you a lot of success. But don’t forget to take breaks from time to time. Have you been able to travel or relax recently?
What helped me after school was running outside on my own. Do you practice any kind of sports, or do you have hobbies that help you chill?
My life is going alright: I go to work and, after that, I usually go for a run with a group of people. Work is kind of stressful, but I manage it by chilling and keeping myself in good shape.
Unfortunately, I don’t have much time to be lazy or chill watching anime, I just read manga whenever I have time, especially when I’m on public transportation.
But overall, I’m doing very well. I know how to take care of myself.
What made you decide to come back to MAL after being silent for so long? I guess you were probably super busy with work, and now that you have some time to chill, you decided to come back.
Do you usually spend a lot of time on social media, or not really?
I read your profile presentation and I really liked it. It’s the kind of presentation that makes someone want to be friends with you and have a chat. I especially love the way you describe your relationship with the different seasons: summer, spring and winter. You seem to be a very enthusiastic person, full of joy, and a bit clumsy from time to time.
I was wondering, do you care about people’s negative opinions about you, or do you not really care?
I also recognize myself in you when it comes to meeting new people from different cultures, and I tend to look at everything in a rational way (maybe a bit too much haha).
So does that mean you’re not an emotional person?
I’m 26 now, so yeah, one year younger than you. I completely agree with you that comparing ourselves to others doesn’t help, and stress won’t solve any problems.
How did you overcome your quarter-life crisis? For now, I’m satisfied with life, I don’t feel late or early. At first, it was hard to process that I’d have responsibilities and had to be more cautious about myself.
To help me deal with that, I decided to travel solo, and I never regretted it. I’ve been able to meet a lot of people, have deep conversations with them, see the world with my own eyes and enjoy myself.
I feel like I have dreams similar to yours.
About traveling: I want to visit all the countries in the world. For now, my short-term goal is to visit all the countries in Europe.
About investing: I want to have my own apartment in Paris and then rent it out (maybe have one or two), and also build my stock and crypto portfolio (not really a dream, more of a goal).
In the future: I’d like to get married or have a partner with whom I can build a family, have a cozy home, share good moments, and travel together in the US and Canada.
I remember I wrote a list of things to do before getting old, if I find it, I’ll share it with you haha.
By the way, do you think money brings happiness? I ask out of curiosity, since I’ve gotten very different answers from people.
I also feel pressured by my parents to get married and give them grandchildren, but personally, I don’t feel ready for kids yet.
Do you also have this issue with your parents? I think prioritizing ourselves first is important, and you need to be in the right mindset for dating.
Ohh, so that’s how you function. I’m okay living by myself if I had to, but over time, I think I’d get anxious.
Why was it a bad idea to have a roommate? Seems like you had a bad experience haha.
Working at a hotel reception is nice in a way, I guess. You must be a cheerful and helpful person to guide people. Not everyone has the patience or the qualities for that, though I can imagine it gets repetitive after a few years.
It’s also really cool that you’re ambitious, your future husband will be very happy to have an independent woman who can earn her own money and take care of her family.
Although I’m a man, I admit men aren’t reliable in many situations. You need to be strong, but also avoid doing everything alone, otherwise he’ll get used to it.
By the way, if you ever pass by the UK or Paris, let me know. I can suggest nice hiking spots in the UK (I go every two weeks for a hike), and in Paris I could treat you to some food and give you advice about monuments or the city (I usually do that with people I meet through my travels).
For now, I don’t have pictures from Switzerland because they were on my old phone, but I can share some from my most recent travels. But for me, Switzerland is definitely a must. I'l show you the picture next time
I just noticed I didn’t take the best pictures, so you might not find them that beautiful or interesting haha.
Well, my job sounds interesting, but in reality, it’s just a normal job. I basically write papers on how to build rockets for technicians at the workshop. There are a lot of deadlines, meetings, and it can be stressful.
I think it’s nice that your job isn’t too serious, meaning you can chill. Have you ever thought about volunteering at youth hostels?
During my stays abroad, I often went to hostels and met a lot of volunteers who organized activities. For them, it was a way to stay somewhere and travel around Europe at a low cost.
Does that mean you’re good at taking care of kids? Unfortunately, I’m not, kids tend to dislike me because I’m too strict and not funny haha.
I’m glad you enjoyed Bordeaux and I hope that next time you can go to Disneyland.
When I travel, I can easily walk 50 km a day, there’s always so much to discover in a city.
Wearing heels doesn’t sound like a good idea for walking though, unless you like taking pretty pictures.
When you travel, do you usually take a lot of pictures?
And do you prefer to chill and take your time to visit monuments in a relaxed way, or do you prefer to hurry and see as much as possible?
I totally understand what you mean about being a woman traveling alone, it can be scary. But I’ve met many women who traveled solo and never had any issues.
Still, you’re completely right to be cautious with the way the world is today.
So I guess you’ll travel with your future partner when you get the chance.
I’ve been to Finland, in Lapland, and it’s absolutely gorgeous.
As for Israel, I had the opportunity to go there twice with friends: the first time was after Covid, but I didn’t go because I hadn’t gotten the vaccine yet, and the second time was last year but I didn’t go because I felt unsafe given the situation.
And as you said, many people hate Israel because of what’s happening in Gaza, and there are even attacks against Israeli people living in France. In my opinion, that’s absurd, it’s not necessarily their fault but the government’s.
But I’m glad that you love your country.
Take care and see you next time! Btw do you have discord ?
Nah lol, it's just a recently used internet term that refers to those who are always online its become concerning
Mine also takes a few minutes, if I am in the mood. Back during covid, I took like 3 hours talking to this one dude and we had a wall of text for the comments. I was really in the mood to explore and to express myself, but sadly, not much anymore
Funny because, that's what you were during those times. I wonder what made you come back lol. You even told me once there that you're old now and I can't really be expecting the same kind of energy as before
Yeah, your current about me was updated in the early years of covid, I believe. You were saying something that sounds like you got the idea from my bbcodes
I skimmed through 5 years worth of comments until I returned to February 2020 when we started talking after 2018/2019 with only about 2 or so messages but I was unable to find the part when you made the bio you had today. Anyway, it was made around covid haha. Damn, we really had a fucking rollercoaster ride
It's on pirate sites too with subtitles, maybe on my day off haha
You and I have had some pretty depressing highs and lows. I've learned that firsthand reading some of our older comments. Funny how we still ended back together unlike most people who just cut off and leave it at that lol
I'm not really studying anything in the sense of academics but I did start rewatching old vsauce videos. I've always found them entertaining
Well, it's a little hard to explain. It's a bit related to the vsauce content. It's about existential crisis and trying to make sense of things. Changing your environment like quitting a job can make a change, but it's not guaranteed. And besides, everything is subject to change, which means that everything is scheduled to end. So you know, cherishing things feel pointless sometimes. Although I am aware that the finality of it all paradoxically gives meaning to things, so idk haha
That's true lmao. And even if there aren't, you wouldn't have many things to relate to with teenagers anyway so there's no point in making friends with kids (unless you really want to ig)
Probably because you really invested time or something and totally not because you're a girl lmao
Thanks, I actually am about to sleep now. This message took me an hour to finish lmao
Expect the worst lol. Most of the closest ones I had about a decade ago are long gone, and I've since then removed them from my friendlist
It's your account so it's okay. When I check your screenshots at the wayback machine I forgot you even had a clannad one in 2013. Apparently you've had the Aria one since 2015 ish? So about a decade
True lmaoi, and we're not even talking about collecting achievements lol
Some us stuff like movies and some tv series. Percy Jackson has a TV series apparently, but Logan Lerman no longer plays the mc
Then there's the lilo and stitch remake, I've yet to see that
Get rid of distractions and try to listen intently. Ask questions even if you're not in the mood to make sure your attention is always on the topic at hand. Most people struggle with this nowadays
Kinda not hyped for it anymore lmao, we're getting old
Oh wow, did you get a character development/arc? If you are changing everything or just felt like it? And yes, the profile picture is very wholesome/happy, I can see you are trying to bring that out.
Niiiceee, I can't wait to see your updated about me then, I'm sure that will take a lot of work to write.
Oh, very cool! Do you work in Tel Aviv or somewhere resort-y to meet such important people? I definitely hear you about dubs. I've actually come back around on watching dubs again, just because it's helpful if I'm watching something while I eat, or just having something on in the background while I play videogames. But subs are better whenever I want to know what they're REALLY saying, or just to pick up the language. The person I met also used to voice Ash in the Pokemon anime, and she was just touring a bunch of schools. I wish I had brought something to get signed. They had a trivia game going before the pannel, and I helped the people I came with win a copy of the Pokemon Shinning Pearl :)
It's good to hear LASIK worked out for you! I can't imagine, it must feel so much better to not have to put on your glasses everyday, then!
Cowboy Bebop is about of group of misfits who run a bounty hunting service out in space, in a time where the earth is slowly decaying. If that sounds depressing, it's surprisingly not. It does an amazing job balancing comedy, drama, action, and almost all of the episodes are stand alone stories that are highly re-watchable. 3-gatsu is a way more grounded, character drama about a now orphaned teenage boy who is a prodigy at shogi (Japanese chess). The character drama is so realistic, and it was something that really connected with me on a profound level because it does such a good job portraying hobbyist culture, specifically the really weird quirks and habits of people who play games for a living, barely getting by.
Wow, it really has been such a long time! How have you been lately? I hope everything’s going well for you and that life’s treating you smoothly.
A lot has happened on my side too ,so much that what I wrote a year ago already feels outdated haha. Funny thing, I actually have the same button on my mouse, and it’s happened to me before: writing a long text and then losing everything because of a misclick. That’s why nowadays I usually type in Word first and then copy-paste. A little life hack haha.
Did you end up investing in a new PC setup? :o
And don’t worry at all about my birthday. Honestly, the older I get, the less I care about celebrating it. I did go through a bit of a quarter-life crisis though, which made me reflect on what I really want to achieve, my goals, projects, and what direction I want to take from here. How about you? Do you think about that sometimes? Like life goals, travel dreams, marriage, or getting your own place?
Lately I’ve been pretty tired from balancing work, sports, and travel. My sleep has suffered a bit, but I’m slowly improving. How many hours of sleep do you usually need to feel good?
By the way, I think you’re completely right about changing fields, no matter your age. Not for the money necessarily, but because life’s too short not to explore new paths. It’s more exciting than staying stuck in one job forever. What made you want to study computer science? Do you already know which area you’d like to work in?
As for me, I’m still a mechanical engineer, but right now I’m working in aerospace. My job is mostly about writing processes for assembling rocket components. I spend time in the workshop getting feedback from operators and helping solve problems when they come up. I’m not in Switzerland anymore, currently back in Paris, but maybe I’ll return one day. Switzerland left a strong impression on me, especially Interlaken. I’ll send you some pictures next time!
How are things going in Israel these days, politically and economically?
About Disney—funny enough, I went so many times back when I had an annual pass that I don’t feel like going again anytime soon. I used to go every month, especially for Halloween, Christmas, and other big events. What makes you want to visit?
And wow, you’ve already been to France! Which city did you visit? When you mentioned the wine museum, I immediately thought of Bordeaux. I went there two months ago—it was really cool.
Also, yes, listening to that song brought me straight back to Angel Beats. So nostalgic!
Travel-wise, I recently went back to Poland but to a different city this time. I actually did a little solo Europe trip: Sweden, the Netherlands, the UK, then Czech Republic and Poland. In October I’ll head to Rome and the Vatican, and in November probably Germany or Luxembourg. I’m also preparing for a half marathon. Poland was great—cheap, friendly people, and I even got invited for drinks by strangers. I stayed in Wroclaw.
Do you have any travel plans coming up? We could even share ideas with each other. I’ve got plenty of plans, but of course, work is what makes travel possible haha.
And hey, if I ever visit your area, maybe you can be my tour guide, I’m generous with tips ;)
Take care and talk to you next time!
