And yes, "in the pool" is absolutely amazing, like, hearing that brings me to a new universe honestly.
Also, Happy Late Birthday! I hope that your special day was a good one, and that from here on out everything is going to get better, including your situation with your job!
I will be patiently waiting for your reply, so don't worry, I completely understand!
Just wanted to wish a Merry Christmas!
Once again I let you down, and made you wait 2 months for a reply. I really need to work that on me, and start replying people faster! Sorry for that! It's really something I want to correct until the end of the year!
In the past months, my studies have restarted, and with that a lot of works too. So far, everything has been going really well, so I can't really complain! Just this last week's work had me a bit more stressed, because they gave us 0 directions of what they wanted from that work, and I don't really like it to these kind of works where you don't really know what you're supposed to do.
I'm glad everything went well with the cosplay in the end! I'm pretty sure it must have been amazing to be able to cosplay of one of your favorite characters! It's a shame nobody went to talk with your group, but I'm sure some people recognized the characters, and as you said, just were shy to come and talk to you.
And I totally have to watch Durarara! I will add it to my Plan to Watch list! It does seem like a good anime!
I'm sorry to hear that you had a Burnout due to your job. Were you able to change to a different job in the meanwhile? How's that situation?
Your Lie in April really left me thinking about for weeks, it's such a good anime. And yes, The Summer Hikaru Died was so good! I really loved how they ended the 1st season, the anime is so well done, truly a very cinematic experience, that deserved more recognition honestly. The story of Yoshiki fighting his inner demons is so well explored. I really can't wait for the 2nd season, but I think we'll have to wait quite a lot for that to happen! But this anime really was my favorite new anime from 2025 (from the ones I have watched). I'm looking foward to watch "Fragnant Flower Blooms with Dignity", I didn't have the chance to watch it during the summer season, but everyone talks so well about it that I really need to watch it.
Talking about anime that leaves a mark, at the time I'm writing this, yesterday, I went to watch the new Chainsaw Man movie, and I have to say that 24 hours later I still haven't recovered. It was my first time watching an anime at the cinema honestly, and what an experience. I liked this movie so much, the animation was amazing, the direction was cleverly done, the OST is beautiful (hearing it right now while I'm writing this, especially the track "in the pool", that is so beautiful), and the plot is so memorable. This movie really felt cinematic, so watching it on the big screen really is the way to go. I always liked how Chainsaw Man was really cinematic, but the issues I might have had with the 1st season were completely resolved with this movie. The way the author can make these characters so different (kind of crazy/weird sometimes), but still present this beautiful story about human emotions is so incredible. By the end of the movie my eyes really were ready to cry, but I had a bus to catch later, so I had to control myself xD. I'm really glad they spent the 1st half of the movie exploring more the relationship between Denji and Reze, to then let chaos take control in that 2nd half, with all those amazing battles (I have noticed you already watched the movie, so I hope I'm not spoiling anything).
Everytime I send you a message I always have one anime that has left on me a big impact, it's kind of funny I always end up talking about that. But for real, the Chainsaw Man Movie was incredible, everything was on point, and it left an impact in my heart, and that's the best thing an anime can do. This movie not only reminded me why I loved Chainsaw Man, but also why I love to watch anime in general. This abillity they have to show amazing battles on screen, while telling an emotional story at the same time, amazing.
Post-movie depression is real, I'm glad today I don't have much to do, besides watching the anime of this Fall Season that I'm following, but I will probably leave them for later. Ahh, just thinking about the movie makes me feel excited and depressed at the same time.
Talking about the Fall Season, what are you watching, and what has caught up your eye? For me, the anime I'm most excited to be following is really the 3rd Season of Spy X Family, that anime is just wholesome in every way.
Don't worry about the big texts by the way! I really liked to read all of it!
Sorry once again for replying so late. I really am going to try to fix this bad habit of mine! And I really hope everything is going well for you!
Now I have a lot more free time, so I won't take so much time! I'm really sorry!
How did that convention go? Did you have fun? Also, did the cosplay of Izaya went well? I hope you managed to get a substitute for that hoodie! I actually never watched Durarara, I will need to check it out in the future!
I must say I have recovered from Your Lie in April, but it was hard. Haven't watched that many anime after that one, so it's still one of my most recent "watches", but lately I have been a bit obsessed over one of the anime this season, The Summer Hikaru Died! The production and the story are so good! Other than the anime of the spring season I was following and the anime I am watching this season, haven't really watched other anime (besides "Can You Keep a Secret?"), since I didn't have much time, but I'm planning on catching up on anime from past years that I have on Plan To Watch for a long time now. But everytime I hear the YLIA opening, I get all emotional, THE SONG IS SO GOOD!
It's kinda funny how you ended up watching Your Lie in April with meme subs, so I understand you can't take it seriously, I'm sure some scenes would be hilarious (saw something similar in YouTube, and eventhough the anime is so depressing, those scenes were so funny)!
Once again, I'm really sorry for only replying now! I hope you're doing good now!
And post your list of the ten best anime of all time here: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2208449
Did you read Durarara!! novel online or you bought physical novel?
We will have a chat in the future as well (•‿•)
Tnx for visiting my profile, commenting and recommending stuff✌🏻
Just finished Your Lie in April, and currently in that post-ending depression phase. Like, I have so many works to do, but I can't focus, just thinking about Kaori :(
Some anime really just strike you to the core, you know? Your Lie in April in particular hits personally close to me, which just makes it all the harsher. But it's also a beautiful anime that makes you realize the importance of friends, love and living your life to the fullest.
Sorry for this rant, but Your Lie in April just made me think about many stuff.
Just finished the 5th volume of Noragami earlier, and I must say, it really ended in the part I was expecting them to end (Yukiné sacrificing himself to save Yato). It's getting really tense over there! But I will have to wait a little to get my hands on the neext volume unfortunately, so I guess I'll need to make a small break in reading the Noragami manga. This way also gives them more time to start working on that 3rd season ;)
And yes, I can clearly see that some things that happen in the Rabou arc are taken from some panels of the Bishamon arc, that ended up not being adapted again in the 2nd season (I think). Crazy to think that some scenes from the 5th volume were still adapted in the 1st season of the anime.
April is already coming to an end, can you believe it? This anime will forever change the next "Aprils" that are coming for me. The way some anime can change your perspective in life and such is fascinating, don't you think so?
I personally loved chapter 13, it has been the best so far, but reading the manga is making me sure that I understand why I love Noragami (the anime) so much, although the anime has quite some differences (Not having to read the Rabou arc is a WIN).
I heard that Noragami ends up quite depressing at the end, I'm actually quite curious (and fearful) of that, but thankfully I'm being able to maintain spoiler free for these past 7 years (since I watched the anime)!
A 3rd season with 2 cours coming next year would be amazing! By then I would have caught up my manga reading with the anime, which would just make me enjoy this new season even more!
Also, hope you're doing just fine! And Happy Easter for you!
And yes, Noragami is indeed, one of my favortie anime! Still waiting for that 3rd season, that IS GOING TO HAPPEN, throwing this positive energy out here.
