Greetings, I am a big anime fan since 2019 who consciously started this journey from Blend S (memes) and Attack on Titan (osu!).
Here I rank anime series not in terms of which ones I like, but which are in my opinion worth to watch. To specify, my main scoring rules are:
1. Logic (the more unrealistic/unexplained physics/facts or factual information modified later on for the plot without a logical reason, the higher the probability of the score down).
2. Time period spent on a story build-up vs "stealing" viewer's time (the longer the story, the higher amount of relatable world explanations/plot twists it needs).
3. Usage of story details (the more moments of characters' acts/decisions being based on their interpretations of their past events, the higher probability of the score up).
4. Characters that are gods may break rule no. 1, but if they do so, they take the weight of this rule on themselves and make the story being rated by their own character development too, depending on how much screentime does "god character" take compared to the amount of educational and mature values/life lessons they deliver to the story.
My one rare contribution across all MAL profiles is that in notes below titles in Anime Stats you can usually see my useful NON-SPOILER tips to completed series (e.g. convenient chronology for a title, or how much a side story is obligatory for understanding valid points of a main story). Also, for few cases: the scale with full numbers looks not fair enough, so I give in-between scores while filling in with my view.
Additionally, in Anime Stats in tags on the right side of each section I type whether my first experience with a title was with subtitles or dubbing, if there is a slash then it means that I watched partly in sub, partly in dub, and the chronology of a division goes from left to right.
My anime scores' definitions:
10 - perfection (each human must see this)
9 - nearly perfection (each anime enjoyer must see this)
8 - epic (most of anime fans will enjoy it)
7 - fun (half of anime fans will enjoy it)
6 - good (anime fans who share with their experience will enjoy it)
5 - average (small part of anime fans will enjoy it)
4 - bad (only addicted anime fans can enjoy it)
3 - very bad (only kids can enjoy it)
2 - horrible (just producers enjoying their own creation, almost nobody)
1 - trash (nobody enjoys it, even the people who made it)
