I'd never actually joined any clubs during my time at UoA - my friends consisted of either people I knew from high school or people I'd met through my courses.
I didn't actually get into anime as much as I am now until after I finished my tertiary studies, so that ship had already sailed lol.
I would've expected the club to be a mix of both however, kind of like a book club. I can see why you'd be disappointed.

Big fan of the art designer. I actually spent thousands on some of the original cels from the show. One of my prized possessions. And I love the show as much as Anne so far. I just fucking wish we could find all 13 episodes of Coco damn it!!

It's always nice to find other people with a passion for the more niche shows in the medium.

I'm absolutely in love with everything about Comet-san, as it reminds me a lot of other Iyashikei shows I've seen.

And no worries, I tried to avoid reading spoilers haha. I also checked out your video on Comet-san and thought it was really interesting. The part about the production really stood out to me. I think that they did a proper job of creating a work that has a lasting effect on the viewer, regardless of monetary success. What they said about creating something that showcases the wonder of the world around us is very reminiscent of a show like Aria, and is a major reason why I instantly connected with it. The passion really bleeds through.
